Hi all. First, thank you for this forum.

Like a lot of posters, I'd never heard of e-cigs before seeing them at a mall kiosk. Suckered in, I paid 3x too much for a starter kit. However, it was worth it. For the first time in years and years, I haven't had a smoke in days.

I'm looking into getting a better model of e-cig and am reading all of your reviews. My question: Are these available in any store? I'm in the DC area, and would like to see some of these models in person.

And can the juice be purchased at any stores around here? I love shopping online, but I know my procrastination will get the better of me and I'll run out someday.

Basically online only. I would strongly suggest you move to a manual PV (personal vaporizer) and stay clear of the autos like SE (one of the worst, bty).

For a beginner, I would recommend either the Joye 510 or the manual (not auto) DSE901. Manuals allow you to control the warmth of the vapor, provide better throat hit and are more reliable. If you like one of these two, then you may want to step up to the premiere PV's as many of us have that provide great throat hit and batteries that last 5-8 hours on a charge. Here are some links:

I too would recommend buying your supplies online as you will find them significantly cheaper that way.

However, I will recommend that you go check out the Social Groups here on the forum. I believe there is one for the MD/VA/DC area. They will be able to clue you in on where there might be some supplies in retail locations, and even possible point you to an online supplier that wouldn't mind meeting you in person.

That will be your best bet. As for what to buy, I'd recommend the Joye 510.
