So this is my first post on this site, and I want to start off by saying you all seem like a bunch of nice people.

Anyway, I started vaping a month or 2 ago with a 900mah ego battery and ce4 clearomizer. I find that it works great for a beginner, but I have been browsing all these crazy mods on the forums for the last few days and am very interested in getting a tank/vv or boxmod. My budget is kind of low for now but I want to experience some of the APVs that you can get a hold of.

Any suggestions for a cheap tank, variable voltage battery and/or boxmod?

Any help is appreciated.:)

could I recommend the ego-V v2 mega and a protank. about 50 dollars without shipping, and its VV. don't need a charger because its usb charge/passthrough, uses a computers usb port, or if you have a usb wall charger that will work. One charge lasts me over a day usually, and I like this just as much as my vamo with protank or aga-t2. find a vendor that carries both, I think discount vaper might have both, so would be like 60 dollars out the door, the vamo is 45 dollars by itself. at any rate get a protank. they have a pyrex glass tank and works with your ego if it has a 510, (i think yours has the dual thread right?)
SLB eGo-V V2 - VV LCD 1200mah - Stainless - slb ego-V v2 mega VV w/ LCD (sold out)

Kanger ProTank - Kangertech Protank (sold out)

http://www.sun-vapers.com/buy/kanger-protank-glassomizer-by-kangertech/ - in stock

I went and found links for you, but alas they are out of stock on both. You can probably find them in stock with other suppliers, but I don't know if you will find both at another merchant. As you can see, these things work well, and sell out.

Good Luck

Sir I went to a Vamo V2 and Smoktek 6ml lockable tanks and 2.0 Dual Coil Carto. whats good is that first Vamo is a great PV works great, build is solid, looks MANLY! (esp. Gun Metal Finish) and best of all Version 2 has all the fixes from the rants of people from V1 =) variable voltage and wattage, resistance meter and an impact weapon LOL.

now for the tank, smoktek LOCKABLE 6ML DC Carto, I like the lockable cause since being a semi newbie I sometimes almost pulled the tank off the cart while on the PV. Bad move! lockable prevents that and you wont have that nicotine juice mess all over your pocket or table. Dual Coil more heat source! 6ML cause I like my tank big and cant be used all throughout the day. I refill every 2 days!

www.Smoktek.com is the site =)

once you are able to rebuild, get a pheonix clone (Identical as the original put 1/4 the price), a BCC protank or evod.

Congrats!

I agree with horselady154 about the tank. I have this tank

if you want to go vv or box you could try a vv box mod

Variable Volt 808 Gripper

sorry in advance i dont know how to make a hyperlink yet
I'll join everyone recommending a pyrex IBTanked cartotank.

However, I'd like to point out that the Gripper linked above has a native 808 thread connector. Unless for some reason you want an 808 threaded box mod, you'd find the 510 threaded one much more useful. These are available in black or silver for $40, and take a nipple top 18650 imr battery that will last an entire day: AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh

black 510-thread V-V Gripper Variable Volt Gripper

silver 510 thread V-V Gripper Variable Volt Gripper, Silver

Everyone needs a backup device. I can't think of a more inexpensive or stealthy little mod than the non-variable voltage Gripper. Only $16. Can use an XL (45mm Boge XL or Smoktech cartomizer) cartomizer which attaches inside the mod itself for added stealth or a smaller footprint for more portability, or an extension adaptor is available to add a cartotank or other juice delivery device that attaches to the top of the Gripper. It uses a 18350 battery for 8 hours of use. Batteries : Efest IMR 18350 Button Top

I had the opportunity to try out the kanger protank at a vape meet a couple weeks ago, and I have to give kudos to it. It has a glass tank , and gives an amazing vape. I dont think you can go wrong with one, I know Im going to order one soon, and im more of a carto tank fan.
