Well I was looking on google to see why my juice was turning dark and tasted burnt.:vapor: And came across this forum! And sat here for hours looking around and what a wealth of info here! :confused:So I joined! Still sitting here looking around and spent more hours and decided to just make a post. I bought my first rig May 6 2013 and quit smoking. I got it in Las Vegas and started with 2 batts and the 2 throw aways and got hooked! I got some juice etc. Then I moved onto my Kanger protank. I love it. And now I see so many other things I want to try. Like make my own juice etc. So now I need to go find info on that and maybe recipes! I even learned that I can reuse my bad wicks or coils. depending at what store you go to.
Anyway thanks for being here! I am supposed to be doing homework and this is so interesting I cant stop. I got trapped in the section about storage! LOL:facepalm:
Now on to the next........Thank you again!

I don't just buy all my flavors from one flavoring company. I primarily use Flavor Arts but there are some flavors that TFA/Inawera/Hangsen/Capella and others do better (and better/best is subjective depending on what you like).

Here are some threads you may like to read through for different flavoring companies. Many of the posts include recipes and comments about a specific flavor.

1. Flavor Arts (FA) - Pure Vapes has 3ml FlavourArt flavorings
2. The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) - The Flavor Apprentice Flavoring Thread
3. Inawera (IW) - Inawera - a few reviews
4. Capella (CAP) - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/637270-diy-capellas-recipe-thread-v2-0-a.html
5. Hangsen (HS) - The Hangsen Thread

Welcome to the forum JaddedHeart, if you're still wonderin' what to do about your darkening liquid?
Vape it down a bit, dump it out, wash everything off, I pad dry the wicks, refill and go.
I do it every couple of days or so but eventually the coil wick needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
You'll know 'cause the liquid starts getting dark faster than usual.

Hope you enjoy your stay, Cheers.:vapor:

When I was using ProTanks and evods, I use to refill about 3 times and then I would rinse with Everclear and air dry over night. I did not like it when the juice started getting darker. This comes from the gunk on the coils and gets in the juice. I suppose that is one of the biggest reasons I ended up dripping and got into the whole coil building part of vaping. The reo happens to be the ultimate dripper IMO. It is a great hobby and fun as far as I am concerned. The juice just seems fresher to me.

I know what you mean about so much information here. It can sometimes get overwhelming. If you have any problems or questions, just ask. Always someone great here to help. Sort of like a family. (even better than my family)
