Noob Introduction

Been lurking here for a few days, and thought I'd post up. I ordered a pen-style from bestecig.com. Haven't recieved yet, but am really looking forward to it.

I heard about the e-cig on the radio while at work, and it created quite a stir around the office. Most of us are smokers, with a few nonsmokers minced in. I was really interested just for the fact that I could smoke right at my desk and be more productive at work. Its a commission sales job, so the more we're away from the desk, the more money you'll miss out on.

My kit from bestecig I ordered with 5 extra atomizers since I've heard of how unreliable the atomizers can be from different ecig providers. I also got an extra 5 pack of cartridges (ultra high) So for 82 USD shipped, I'll be receiving my penstyle, 5 atomizers and 10 cartridges. Not a bad deal I thought. I spent a while browsing for good prices, and I figure that if this works out well, I'll spend more to try out different brands.

A question I did have though, was will I be able to use cartridges from other companies pen-styles in the one I have coming?

Also, I live in Arizona, and have found that there are a number of suppliers based out of Arizona. Does anyone have any reccomendations of good companies here?

I think the penstyle accessories are interchangeable but it might help if you tell us which make it is .

Also, do you have at least two batteries? The penstyle batteries last a while but take an age to charge.

You may want to get more carts as most e-smokers get through a few of them a day (some of the claims as to how many real cigs they are equivalent to are exaggerated--to put it mildly!). Either that or top up your carts with your favourite flavour juice. Discard them as soon as they taste burnt or show dark spots (burnt liquid) though!

most pen style carts should work, u might find that some will fit a little tighter some will fit a little looser but all in all they should work

Hi Puf, and welcome!

Your atomisers should certainly last you a while! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif As Denni suggested, you may want to get a couple more batteries, more cartridges and some e-liquid. 20-30 cartridges (by refilling) can keep you going for quite some time but if the batteries die you are stuffed.

I hear that! I don't think they do cartridges yet, but Johnson Creek make some pretty damn fine e-juice, genuine USA produce and no worries about it getting lost in transit!

The Chinese holiday was over on the 6th, so it just shipped monday, when I tracked the package it said it has left china, but not made it to the states yet. Sooooo I'm waiting as patiently as I can. Getting a little antsy tho. haha

Success!!

I got my order yesterday, vaped all night, then took it to work this morning.

Everyone at work had a great response to it. Smokers and nonsmokers alike.

at least 5 other people are going to be ordering a startup kit, and I'm planning on ordering some more supplies tonight. I only smoked 3 cigarettes since I started vaping, which is a big improvement over my pack a day (or more) habit.

One wuestion though... After a full charge, my battery still blinks at the end of a long drag. I get lots of vapor, but at the end of the drag, it starts blinking, and then stops lighting even if i continue to pull on it. Is there a reason for that, or is it just bad batteries, or what? the charge only lasted for about 5 hours at work.
