Still trying to figure out whats what in the world of e-cigs, I was simply looking for KR808 cartomizers. I noticed that almost ALL sites use the same picture for a set of 5 blank carts. Yet the price varies +- $6 for a pack of 5. All sites show a blister pack of 5 black carts with whiteish rubber plugs on either end.

Is it safe to assume that all of these different companies selling carts get them all from the same OEM place? Only difference being price?

There are differences but they are hard to figure out sometimes. Usually the main difference is resistance (ohms). The range is typically 2.8 to 3.2 unless they are dual coil or specifically low resistance. In general, The lower the resistance, the hotter the vape and more vapor, and the more amps or batter drain that will occur, but this is also dependant on how much PG or VG the juice has. I use smokeless image cartos almost exclusively which are about 2.8 ohms which are the best I have found. Also in general its not recommended to use too low of a resistance on 808 batts. Hope that helps, check out the 808 specific forum for more info. :vapor:

There's two basic types of 808 cartos, bottom coil and regular / vertical coil. The bottom coils will burn your juice less but also gibe you a cooler vape. It's worth trying at least a box of each to see which you like best. Smokless Image carries the bottom coil, along with a few others (look for Kanger 808 bottom coil), for vertical coil just about anywhere carries them....:)

Ive only used SmokelessImage carts so far, but I found a place (cant remember the name) selling what looked like the same thing for $6 per 5-pack...

Not to change the subject, but the RIO Mod looks awesome....sad Ive spent so much on this VOLT only to see something better a few weeks later....

Long batt, less refilling, oh the fun of a learning curve, like when I started in car audio..
