Noob looking for answers!

I'm practically new to all of this and just ordered my first mod and rda- Plume veil/Stingray. Just have a few questions.
1) The plume veil has a number of airflow holes, 2 wide ones, and 6 holes split evenly. The adjustments for the wide holes are pretty simple. What I don't understand is how to expose the bottom 3 holes on each side. I know that the only hole that does get uncovered is the center one. Could someone explain to me how to adjust this correctly?

2) I am using a sony vtc5 battery. What gauge of wire is recommended, and how would I build my coils to get around .8-1.5 ohms?

3) What is that difference of single, dual, triple, and quad coils? What are the pros/cons of parallel wires?

4) What build would you recommend to offer a safe vaping experience, but produces a lot of smoke at the same time?

Well, I have never built a dual coil build, because I have read that people often get the same results from dual as a single.... so, I would start off building a single, and see how that goes, and do a little reading because there is plenty of information posted on ecf about single, dual, quad coils, ect.

Just google this stuff, and then when you see a result from ecf forum, click show more results from ecf forum.

I have had best of luck with 26 or 28 guage kanthal. Usually 7 or 8 wraps around a 1/16 bit keeping it real tight, lots of youtube videos on this, also some charts.

SAFETY you should definitely get a volt reader, there is a ohm setting on most of them, I think all of them actually, watch some youtube videos and make sure you know what your doing before you fire it up....

A Sony VTC5 has a 30 amp limit. Meaning that as long as ur build isn't forcing the battery to push 30 amps... ur good. So essentially... don't go below 0.13 ohms.

If you have a plume veil, use 24g wire. Easy to work with and I've been able to get down to 0.2 ohms with it.

you will NEED an ohm reader or DVOM to check the resistance or "ohms" of your builds. without one you are running the risk of potentially "venting" (exploding) the battery.

this one has a lot more features, but is a bit trickery to use.

you have alot to learn about mechs and ohms law...
do alot of research, read, watch videos ( youtube)
read Baditudes blogs on batteries...
be sure of your build and its ohms before you apply power to them
