Noob Mod Idea ? Or Best Mod Idea Ever!?!

First off Im no electrical engineer. And would have no clue how to do what Im going to toss out here. So don't ask me to build you one !
But If you make something workable from this idea ya better send me.



I know Im a noob so this idea may be dumb or maybe someone has already talked about It I did try to search but could not find it spooken of.

So here's my thots after readying many many threads about the NicoStick mod and was wondering if something could be made from the joye 510 PCC.

Like I said im a noob but this 510 PCC sure seems like it could house some batterys or maybe use the one thats build in.?. And the little slot you use to hold the atty with a cart attached could be used to store what it's meant to store with some mods while finding a way to keep the lid attached to stuff in a purse or pocket, It also has three led's build right in and maybe some how configure them to show a high / mid / low battery level so you know when when you better plug it in to recharge. Also it has a built in plug for a standard USB conector cable for recharging and also work as a battery passthru.


Total Noob Thing to Ask Or the best Idea ever? You tell me. ! .

Hi Loki(don't know how to make the cool little dots on the o) lol, This is a great idea, I vaguely remember reading someone else who though of it as wel, but I won't accuse you of stealing ideas =). My only problem is that I really like my PCC and I wouldn't want to be mean to her by chopping her up=P. Actually it's just cause I don't feel like dropping another 25 bucks to get another one. That's why I love Radio shack's cheap project boxes. I haven't seen anyone that has actually built one of these, but you definitely don't need to be an engineer to mod e-cigs. Trial and error baby! haha

I say go for it if you don't mind chopping up a PCC.

This is pretty awesome. I have a Janty Minifogger PCC that's identical to a 510 PCC that I no longer use. When I get a little better at modding I will definitely considering cracking it open and attempting something like this.

There didn't seem to be much interest, but I modded my 510 PCC by simply turning the atty storage hole into an atty "socket" by hacking up a cheap 510 passthrough and sticking it in there. I thought it was pretty slick and easy (very little "modding" and not having to mess with fitting it all into a new case, etc). Everything that's great about the PCC and the added benefit of a passthrough with a long lasting battery for lots of vaping.

If nothing else, maybe it will give you an idea of other ways of approaching things when considering a mod. My thought was why try to start with an empty hobby box / battery box when you have a cool looking PCC with room to turn it into a "box mod". Most of the work was already done.

Does anyone know the output of the battery in the 510 pcc? IS it the 3.7v or .....?
