Hi all, I never use a dripping atomizer and i like to try one so i ordered ikenvape 510 to try, but really don't have a clue how to drip and maintain it. i read in forum they say just couples drop like 5-6 drop and vape and when getting dry hit just put more 2-3 drop? also i wouldn't want to take it to work so i planning to use it only at home, so if i don't use them just blow the liquid off or soak in water and sit them dry? which way it gonna be best to extend the atomizer lifespan?

Thanks in advance

the only way that I vape at the moment (until i get a vivi nova mini) is dripping.... i use ego-t attys and stick a drip tip on it :)
I imagine that i could get better taste with a better atty, but shoot, I started off with the ego t, so why let those attys go to waste?
I clean them when i notice that the flavors are muted and/or running together too much. Daily, blow them out onto a paper towel, then when the flavors are muted like how i said, I soak them in everclear for like 10 minutes and blow them out, and let them rest for atleast 1 hour. I tried cleaning them out with rubbing alchol and i could taste it, even after i rinsed and they dried overnight.
Btw you have a tip right? then IMO you can drip :)

Did you take the needle plate out? I thought they were pretty good dripping attys with a regular properly sized drip tip on them. The whistle tips are terrible.

Thanks MrKV and Tiffany Smeggin Peak for a quick reply, I'm reading Cleaning atomizers? Never works! right now and yes i've ordered ss ming driptip along with ikv510, but another thing is some do de-bridge and some don't, what the different beside you see the coil and cleaning them easier?

THe bridge was originally there to get juice out of the old cartridges. It does keep from juice spitting in your mouth if you have a short drip tip. The bridge usually has an extra wick under it that holds a few extra drops of juice that could help you drip less, but that's debatable.

I used to take the bridges out of 306s before they started making them that way. It's better to see what is going on with the coil and less loose wick floating around in there without the bridge.

So I think, for me it might be good to de-bridge it after I use it a while to see what's going on with the coil, this just could prevent me to ruining it at the first before got a chance to use it lol.

I would dewick while new (Take out the wick under the bridge with tweezers, not the one in the coil) and then debridge when it was time to clean. Debridging can damage the atty if you are not careful, but most rock out easily with pliers.

Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper The best performing attys..

Do not debridge bridged attys, no need to....

I have been a dirrect dripper for over 3 years, so I consider myself an expert at the art of dripping..... The HH attys above are the best, bar none... I have tried em all...
I know that $25 seems steep but I usually get 2 months out of one... You cant beat the performance of direct dripping.
All that soaking is a waste of time IMO.... The best way to keep attys working at their peak is to blow them clear several times a day.
With an HH357 you blow from the threaded end... Once cleaned out(from blowing) you redrip with 2-3 drops and you are good to go.....
I do toss em after a couple of months even if they are still working due to loss of flavor and lower vapor production..
I use them on a Provari and find the 3.0 ohm ones to be the best........
