Hi everyone, my name is Scotty and i haven't started vaping yet. I need help on which model to purchase.. I have been smoking for about 40 years, and I have always smoked full flavor menthol(Marlboro menthol) Can anyone help me on which kit to purchase that will give me the full menthol flavor, and the nicotine i am used to? and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Scotty

First off, Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step to getting rid of analogs.

thats exactly what I just put down today! I smoked marlboro greens for 12ish years. My suggestion (if your not worried about size) (and from other suggestions that helped me get what i have) i would suggest the ego twist. I started with a totally different flavor to get me away from the taste of cigarettes. I started vaping almost two weeks ago today. I have not personally tried any menthol flavors yet but i intend to. So far the tank is my best friend vs the cartos from my old blu pack. much more juice and a better hit on top of that. i started with the 18mg nicotine and i think i'm pretty happy with that so far. it is a very good investment in your health and also financially too!! i'm spending about 15$ a month compared to my 80-120 a month. Hope you find something you like. and be sure to try different flavorings.

I'm no expert by any means. very new to this. I hope this helps!!

Well there are 100's of kits and 100's of flavors. What I try to do is recommend basic first. And do it without spending a ton of money. You can do this for under $35.00 and have everything you will need.

A Basic Ego style Kit thats currently on sale:
Riva Starter Kit | Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit | E Cig Kit at LiteCigUSA

With some basic 18-24mg Menthol Juice:

Just coming off cigarettes your going to want the higher nicotine levels. Your going to see people talking about Variable Voltage, Ohms, Tanks, etc.. Ignore it. You will just get confused. Basic is best for someone who is just starting. Once you get going you can worry about all our geeky vapor talk.

Where is the SI posse?;)

We're out here:laugh:

I love my Volt for simplicity. I stepped up to a bigger battery and some clearomizers from the same company [SI] and I still use my original mini cigs with cartos for taking with me. They are easy to shove in my back pocket or into my purse. After happily smoking for 30 years [and I would still be at it if it weren't for knowing so many people on oxygen tanks], I have now cut back by almost 3/4 of my at least two pack a day habit. Loving it. I have more energy, can walk faster and it has been pretty painless. By the time we go on vacation in a month or so, I think I will be smoke free and barely batting an eye over losing my precious ciggies.

What you want, OP, is something you feel comfortable with. I am not real techie and like to keep things absolutely bare bones simple.

Here is a link. Do a little research and then go for it, whatever you decide to choose. I am sure there are plenty of people here who will help you. They sure have helped me.
