I'm new to vaping and am using it to quit smoking. I usually smoke Marlboro menthol lights and up to almost a pack a day. I'm having trouble finding juices that are satisfying. I have two fusion flavors that I like but they don't have enough throat hit for me. I really need that menthol cool feeling. Any suggestions? I'm using 6 nicotine but I think I might have to go up to 12. What do most people start with? What brands are tried and true? Thanks for the help and your patience with my noob questions !

you should give HALO brand subzero a look... fantastic menthol flavor and a good throat hit with low nic levels. i liked it myself

halo's subzero is a very intense menthol. I would say that as a pack a day smoker, yeah you might want to go up to 12mg for a bit, till you have made the transition and dont look at cigs longingly anymore.

I was a menthol smoker myself and searching for that throat hit took alot of trial and error. I finally found subzero by Halo and it's the only menthol I've used for months now.

Throat hit is a product of both nicotine and propylene glycol (pg). With a pack a day, you may want to start out at 18mg/ml ncotine and 70/30 pg/vg.

Not too sure about SubZero for NoraJ, I used to smoke Newports and SubZero matched that, Marlboro Menthol is lighter than a Newport even more so as a Light. I'd suggest Menthol Ice or Menthol X.

You can get a Menthol sampler from there to see which you would prefer though. Their Menthol rocks though.

Same here... Newport smoker and sub zero was the best I've found online for me. You're right though, I remember Marlboro menthol lights weren't as harsh as Newports so menthol ice would probably be a good suggestion.

6mg is very low. It's also not great for throat hit.

Go up if it's not working for you. I'm fairly sure M-lites are not "fresh air" cigarettes, although less than red.

20 a day is 20 a day.

I would have started on 18mg.... just to get off the smokes.

Thanks so much for the help. I'm going to look into the halo brand. Any other brands I should try?
