Hi All, Longtime (30+ yrs) smoker ready for change.
Here is what I ordered,
DSE 901 Manual kit
901 spare atty
KR-808 spare battery 280mah (hope it works on this 901)
15 prefilled carts
2 bottles of liquid

Looking back I should have ordered some Empty carts ! Bummer, I hate waiting on mail !!

Ive also been looking at mods but confused and hope once I get it in my hand it will all make sense.

Anything else that I forgot to buy ?

The best money I've spent on e-cigs so far is about $45 to build my own nicostick. That $45 includes the cost of 2 900 mAh batteries and charger. One battery lasts me about 6-8 hours and I vape a lot.
Yeah, my nicostick is about 9 months old now...it ain't pretty anymore what with the electrical tape, rubber bands and epoxy holding it together after countless drops while taking it out of my pocket. But it performs well and very consistently.
Since my wife is embarrassed by my ghetto Macguyvered nicostick, she bought me a new Joye eGo to use when I am out in public and at the in-laws and such.

I believe every vaper should try to build at least one box mod like the nicostick to have in their PV collection.

(I cant post a link yet, but search for "nicostick" in the modders forum)

Honestly, I think the whole e-cig thing will make more sense when you get it in your hands. I know it 'made sense' when I read and reread alot of posts - but it still hasnt fully 'clicked' just yet. Im still having fun with it!

I havent read this much since high school !
Im looking foward to that fun too :D

You can refill carts many, many times over and there are lots of different fillers that can be gotten locally that work better than the poly stuff that comes in them. I'm not familiar with that particular e-cig, but lot's of people talk about them highly here so I'm sure you'll be quite happy. Good luck

Thx, thats great news & I'll be very happy once it arrives

I just placed my third, and I think last major online order, and this should have me set for the next 2-3 months. I've spent about $250 so far, but when you stop and think that analogs are $50 a carton here, that means I'll break even next week. There is definitely a learning curve, but it doesn't take long to grasp
Im a Roll your own smoker so I havent spent that much per carton but my wife hates her $40+ a week habit (hope I can get us both vaping)

Dubs, I personally love the 901. No other atomizer delivers flavor like the 901 does. The kr808 battery should work fine with the 901 attys and should hold a charge a bit longer than the 901 batts. I hope you got some tasty liquid cause if you did you're in for a treat.
Im sure it'll be a decient starter e-cig for sure...weather I ordered any good juice is yet to be determend

I prefer the taste of the DSE901 atomizer over the more often suggested Joye 510 atomizer. So I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase.

The regular DSE901 battery has a capacity of 180mah. The regular KR808D-1 battery you got will accept the 901 atomizer just fine. It has a 280mah capacity, about 50% longer vaping time than the standard DSE901 battery.

As you empty those prefilled cartridges you can just rinse out the filler material and then use the liquid you got to refill them. So with 15 cartridges you're pretty well set.

Look in the cartridge mod subforum here for ways to get the cartridge filler material to wick better. I find for me the straw mod works well with the DSE901. I also use the ZFM mod with the 'H' cut vs. a hole. Other folks like the PTB and blue foam mods. All these names for ways to modify a cartridge will be explained over on that subforum

You should also be prepared to spend a bit or so on lots of different sample sized liquids until you find one that tastes really good to you. Once you do and find a cartridge mod that works well for you I'm sure you'll be vaping away all day long quite happily.
