I found out about the Provari by browsing these forums.. I watched a grimmgreen video and he was saying they've been around for a very long time. So my question is.. do they upgrade their models or did they make an APV and everyone just fell in love with it. How does it compare to an MPV or a Vamo? Evic even.

The only upgrade was cosmetic (different lines on the body), I have an MVP and a vamo 3, they both work well, but I have 4 provaris and they get all the use. Provari feels more substantial in my hand, no troubles of any kind, tough as an old boot, I don't have to worry about them breaking if they fall (I have dropped one more than once, no damage). Quality, quality, quality. Made in the USA.:2c:

There actually have been 3 versions of the Provari: 1.0, 2.0, and 2.5.

The original v1 had a 2.5 amp limitation. With v2, it was upgraded to 3.5 amp, and v1 owners were able to send their Provari in to Provape for the processor upgrade for $20 - 25.

v2.5 was only an cosmetic change to the milling designs on the stainless steel body for both the standard and mini versions. No change in the processor.

The Provari has been the golden standard that all other VV mods are judged against for three years running. It is incredibly accurate, dependable, and durable. Backed by lifetime support by the manufacturer for as long as you own it.

The Provari is built with better parts/materials designed to last and a more expensive military-grade microprocessor than the mods made in China. 99% of its parts are US made and it is 100% US assembled.

Is there any difference between the mini and the full size one other than size?

Both are of the same diameter and both have the same inner components (microprocessor). They differ only in their length and batteries they can use. The mini with extension cap (using the 18490 battery) is approximately the same length as the standard Provari using the 18490 battery.
