Yes, you can add it to any juice, and the amount the nic reduces will depend on how much you cut it. Such diluting is usually done with unflavored PG and VG in the ratio you want (we are all different, like different things.) If, say, you took 10 mls of that 24 and added 10 mls of unflavored, you'd have 20 mls at 12 mg/ml of nic. That might be what they mean when they say a "doubler" (haven't heard that one!), since it would double the amount of liquid.

Not quite sure what you mean by "normal" juice, though. Already have nic in it? Makes the calculation for the final nic % a bit more involved, and if it does have nic, then "doubling" to make that 20 mls will result in a final mix somewhere over 12 mg/ml, depending on the % in the "normal" stuff.

I think the easy mix might already have an un-flavoured vape juice in it and when mixed with whatever a doubler is (could be a container of twice the volume but half full for easy 1:1 mixing but I have no idea). Apparently you mix the stuff 1:1 with a doubler to get 12mg nicotine in it but I have no idea what a doubler is or much at all about the whole vape dealio hence my posting queries.

I haven't met doublers, but here's an overview:

The 24 mg (actually 24 mg/ml) thing you bought is basically unflavoured vape juice with 24 mg/ml nicotine. You can vape it, but, depending on the device you're using, the tank and coil and its settings, the nicotine would probably be a lot stronger than you wanted. It seems it's meant to be added to a concentrated, flavoured, nicotine-less juice. If you mix it with an equal amount of flavoured ejuice, you'll wind up with 12 mg/ml flavoured juice (which might still be too strong, depending on your setup.)

If you have a DL setup, you'd probably want to go down to 3 or 6 mg/ml nicotine. To get 3 mg/ml, you'd mix your 24 mg/ml nicotine with 8 times as much flavoured, nicotine-free juice, shake well, and vape.

If you want some help figuring out what to aim for, let us know:
  • What your setup is (device, coil resistance, wattage)
  • Your smoking history

Welcome and glad you joined.
I'd like to know whether that would mix with normal juice or whether I have to go buy doubler juice.
In the future, suggest re posting in DIY E Liquid mixing forum:

Smoking history: 24 years of 12-16mg cigarettes, rolling tobacco, cigars and pipe tobacco. Equivalent of 25 a day consistently.

Vape is "up to 30 watts" and coil is 0.3 ohms.

Maybe it is the coil. I dunno. I'm not sure what to look for.

12mg/ml may be harsh on a .3Ω coil.
Try using 6mg/ml.

6mg sounds like a good choice for that. So you can dilute your 24 mg to 1/4 of that (1 part 24mg to 3 parts 0mg) You might consider doing this like DIY: get some VG, PG and flavor concentrates. It's fun to learn, you can try different flavors (or even recipes) and save money. The other ingredients I mentioned should be easily available as they are not specifically vape related. There are online calculators to help with the math.

Welcome, Mathewtheblack. I'll leave it to the smart people here, to answer your questions. I'm careful not to risk misguiding people on nic mixing and nic levels, but I believe it's relatively uncomplicated. I usually just buy liquids at the nic level I vape, but if a seller sends me the wrong nic level, I know how to mix it with zero nic to save it, but when I get the wrong pg/vg ratio it makes me mad.
