Noob Questions about the 901 I just got and juice?

So Last week I posted how I got ripped off my smoking everywhere in the mall. But i did like the ecig despite all the problems.

I order a DSE 901 through Light Cig USA and just got it. I tried to hit it and it worked but it makes a kind of gurgling sound. Is that normal?

Also I ordered "refill cartridgres" with juice to go with it. How much juice should I put in the empty refill cartridge? or should I just be putting it right on the atomizer? maybe Im looking in the wrong place but I cant seem to find any FAQ on all this stuff.

I also am trying to figure out how sometimes I get a huge amount of smoke and sometimes very little? Am I doing something wrong?

The gurgling sound should be just the atomizer heating up the liquid, a little noise is normal. I fill my carts up til they pool on top, hold it upright for about 20 seconds so it seeps in the cart, then use a paper towel or Qtip to take off the extra juice, then put it back together.

I don't care for dripping, its only good for about 1 real cigs worth of vapor and it can clog or even kill your atomizer, stick with filling your carts and you should be good. Make sure your batteries are fully charged, that way you will get the most vapor.

The sound you are hearing is e-liquid and sometimes it is ok while other times it means you filled your cartridge too much. Take the battery and cartridge off the atomizer and blow out through the hole in the atomizer that connects to the battery to clear it as it may be flooded. Let stand on a paper towel for a few minutes. As for the amount of e-liquid to use, fill the cartridge till it is wet looking--put not pooling on the top of the cartridge. Pooling will cause the noise you are hearing and flooding and you will have to blow it out again to clear it--hope that helps--Sun

When I accidently flood my 901 atomizer I just pull the cart off and take a few puffs right off the atomizer. Gives me lotsa vapor, good throat hit and clears up flood without wasting a drop of juice. Be careful though, some atomizer run hot, don't burn your lips. And no the juice hasn't ever gone in my mouth doing this.

Couldn't you use the little empty mouthpiece thing that came with your ecig for this?
