Been a lurker for a while researching several things. Decided to join up. I've been seriously vaping for about 2 months now. Had to throw out the cigs because I'm beginning to have Peripheral Artery Disease. That sucks. but the good part is finally trashing the cigs. My doctor was the one who suggested trying the e-cigs. He didn't care about the nicotine. So, here I am. Been using the IPV II mini with the Atlantis tank and a few different RDA's. started building my own coils. A fun hobby. Ordered a couple Mechanical Mods this weekend (which is most of the lurking for knowledge.) Anyway, glad to be here. Sure I'll have a ton of questions.

Hi, EZ, and welcome to ECF! Isn't it great when a doc puts his/her patients first? Love that! You're going to like ECF even more, once you've done your first posts and can jump in. So much information here, and so many people who are happy to help out. They will want to know your story as much so you will be interested in theirs. Best of luck to you. Sounds like you're doing great, so far!

You're lucky. I told my doctor I switched to Ecigs, and she said "you need to quit those too, they have some bad chemicals in them"... I take it she hasn't done the research. Instead of getting into a heated debate, I just stayed quiet. I was thinking about inviting her to lunch one day and presenting her with the facts...both the good and the bad.

to ecf EZRaider. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. A big congrats on the two months vaping. That is awesome. I am sorry you are showing signs of PAD and so hope that vaping will help. Everything I have ever read on it says that is the one thing you should do. (of course I know you already know that). Good luck to you and continued success on vaping. Please let us know if this helps you because it could also help others. That's really what ecf is all about. . . learning and helping others. Make yourself at home.

Thank-you everyone for the warm welcome. Here's what I can say about vaping. I have tried the nicotine gum, patches, lozenges and even Chantix so many times I couldn't count them. All of these worked to some degree. But, I still craved having a cigarette. Since getting the IPV Mini, which gives me a nice strong cloud, I have had no desire for a real cig. I had one about a week ago and absolutely hated it. Horrible taste. Couldn't even finish it. This is a good thing! I think it a major step away from cigs. As far as my PAD. It's minor at this point and I'm taking the steps to improve it.

Oh, I should be getting my 1st Mod today.
Stingray X clone black.
