noob seeking juice advice

Hi!

I just got my first e-cig today after lingering on it for a while. I'm loving it and haven't had an analog since I opened my kit. I've already narrowed down that I would like to order from FSUSA but I'm kind of confused on the percentages of PG vs VG in the options. I know VG produces more vapor so I figure I should have some in there but how much? How do you know when to add extra flavor as well? Can anyone help with this?

Well Tia, it really all depends on what YOU like. Me personally I prefer VG over PG, because it's veggies. But because I like vape AND throat hit I use a mix between both usually 50/50, unless my stomach gets irritated then I switch up to 90 VG / 10 PG.

are you planning on ordered with them pre-mixed for you, or will you be doing some mixing yourself?

I found a website with a rockin recipe maker, which allows you to use up to 5 flavors as well as use VG and PG. And it tells you hm to use of each.

I'm thinking I'll work my way up to mixing and start with pre-mixes. I've found a few calculators for that but finances are an issue right now (hence the switch to vaping). FSUSA gives the options of 100% PG, 15% VG, or 40% VG so I was thinking I should get the 40% VG to make the most of it. All in all I figure it'd be the same cost but since I don't know what I'm doing yet it might be "safer". LOL!

Do you mix? Which brand of flavors do you prefer if you do?

A good place to start is an 80/20 or 70/30 pg/vg mix. You can adjust from there. 50/50 is too light on TH and flavor and too heavy on the vapor for me. In a short time you'll find the best mix for your tastes.

out of the %'s you get to select I would do 40%... is there a reason you're restricted to just FreedomSmokes?

I don't always mix no, and I'm still considered a noob compared to these champs that have been here and vaping and DIYin it for months and years!!
Right now I'm on a MAJOR Vanilla kick, LOL, mixing some Hilton 50/50 36mg (yuck I do not like it), with Vanilla Bean and 10% VG... taste is great with the vanilla, vape is amazing, and best of all. It's healthier for me and I'm not paying for smokes!

What flavors are you looking to get into?

I like TH and usually get 100% PG, although I'll go with an 80/20 once in a while. PG still produces good vapor in my opinion. My suggestion would be try a few different ratios to find out what you like.

I wouldn't go with more than 20% VG that is more than enough to up the vapor. If you use more than that the TH goes down and VG will also gum up your atties faster same with dark liquids.
