Noob still awaiting first order

Hey everyone, just wanted to kill some of the wait time by delurking and saying thanks for such a great forum. I've been enthralled with all of your posts and reviews and videos since last Friday or so.

I have been interested in ecigs before, but if I hadn't found this place then even if I did get around to trying it I probably would have got stuck with mall kiosk or blu.

Saturday I placed my first order for a 510 starter kit and some juice. Even got a coupon code from this forum, thanks again!

If I like vaping as much as I hope I will, I see myself placing another order very soon. Which could include a couple eGo batteries among other things.

Great to be here, analogs seem less enticing already. Wish me luck!

Here is one of my concerns. I managed to quit analogs before for 5 years and then started again. I had a lot of problems when I quit. I was a total mental wreck for a while, then got over that part but my attention span and concentration seemed to leave and never return until I started again. I also had horrible weight gain even though I didn't substitute food and didn't eat any differently, and let's not even go in to the skin problems.

If I'm lucky, then these were all due to nicotine withdrawal and nothing else. If I like vaping, I can choose to taper the nic much more gradually, even over years. Or, keep the nic if I want.

But what if it's because I'm hopelessly addicted to some of the other nine zillion chemicals in my brand?

Womanofheart is correct ! You too WILL become a mailman stalker !!!! Congrats on your order and welcome ! I am new as well, vaping since 10-10-10, and loving every minute of it. The community here on ECF is so wonderful, helpful, and yes, generous ! Be sure to do your required number of posts to be a full member. Then go check out the PIF ( pay it forward) forum. There are folks that are glad to share some juice samples for us noobs.
O, and don't read about flavors until after you have eaten !! Its dangerous !!!

Your first purchase is a pretty good one to start out with. I started with the 510 and it kept me going. If vaping works out for you, you will love the Ego batteries.
Keep an eye on your fingers, they'll dip into your wallet before you know it-LOL. Have fun and welcome to the ECF.

I've been stalking too, and I know I have until Thursday before my 510 gets here. It's driving me nuts. I do have the prosmoke here, but it's not doing it for me at all. Could just be the weak carts, and no juice to fill them, but I tried my friends 510 a week ago, and there is no comparison IMO, not even when it was new. I cringe every time I reach for my Marlboro Lights now...lol

I am vaping!

It works! It's good! I have no idea whether I'm able to tell whether the nic levels are right, lol. I think 24 might be a bit high and 12 a bit low. But the flavors are ok together so I can take a little of each. Plus my taste buds are fried anyway.

I got Camel flavored juice and it tastes kind of like tobacco and kind of like peanut butter, LOL! Vanilla cream is good too. They also threw in a free black cherry, because they are very nice. I have not tried that one yet.

They gave me green LEDs on my batteries instead of blue, but I don't really care.

I am getting a ton of vapor and it's much more thick and smoke-like than I thought it would be. I can even blow awesome vapor rings!

I will need more juices to try and spare hardware immediately, lol. Oh well, analogs are $78/carton here.

foggy1, it is super hard to find crib buddies! There should be a pub that openly encourages cribbage and vaping.
