Hi guys,
I'm Dan, and I've been....... wait this is starting to sound like an AA meeting.

ok...

quit smoking (20 a day full strength) a year ago, all due to the miracle of e-cigs. had a few slip ups... mind you i wouldn't even call them slip ups, just buying a pack of smokes every 3-4 months or so, for "special occassions".

these e-cig things literally enabled me to quit, right there and then. saved a ....... fortune too.

GREAT!

now after 10 years of smoking, from age 18 to 28, i was no longer the most energetic of people despite being SUPER sporty in my high school days. Put that down to the cigarettes, of course, antismoking lit always claims smoking causes fatigue etc. SO quitting them would do wonders for my energy levels, right?

WRONG. since vaping i have found myself feeling WAY WAY WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more lethargic and exhausted than i ever used to. Doubled with the fact that i am almost 99% insomniac (have been working in hospitality for about 7 years, long shifts, late nights etc), sometimes i even call in sick to work just because i am THAT tired. hell even when i am at work i sometimes find a hidden corner in the office and lie down for a few minutes (hospo management perks) because i can't deal with being vertical.

searched a few posts on here and people have mentioned dehydration, thyroid, depression etc. but all the posts are about 2 years old. wondering if there's any new info on this?

thanks in advance.

Hey, welcome to ECF! :thumb:

Have you ever tried WTA (Whole tobacco Alkaloids)? It sounds like some of the stuff that can go on with different brain chemicals being out of whack, since they were so used to the presence of other chemicals, other than nicotine, particularly MAOIs.

I highly recommend wholecig.com; I use their 24mg unflavored as 7% of my vape (down from the 10% I started at last summer). 10% of your ejuice is a good starting point, to see if it helps you at all, and some folks have reported success at 15% of their vape, if the 10% wasn't quite getting it done.

Just in case you have no idea what I'm talking about, at my site I have a "About WTA" page, basic info on what it is, what it does, etc. --> Angry Vaper - About WTA

Welcome!
Andria
