Hey guys! I joined a while back, but wasn't able to swing my e-cig until now! Just arrived today, it's the KGO 1100mAh from Hoosierecig.com. I bought two bottles of 100% VG juice from them, and just filled my first round in one of the clearomizers it came with. I'm concerned because elsewhere on the site, it says clearomizers don't work with 100% VG, and I'm afraid I'm going to ruin it. I don't think I can use PG because a mall-e-cig I was given had PG and I got a sore throat a la strep throat level of pain. So far, the cig seems to be working just fine.
I bought about 100ml of juice, in flavors I knew would be pretty fail-proof (vanilla and caramel cappucino, 50ml each) and the vanilla custard is pretty good, though not super flavory. That's okay. I was looking at VirginVapor.com, and the site says that their 100% VG is comparable thickness-wise to PG so perhaps that might be the way to go when I need to reorder? I'm hoping that 100ml will last me at least a month - based on what I've read, that should be about right?
Any advice would be great. Since I have two clearomizers and two flavors, I'm thinking that will work well, but do I need to clean them in between fills? How long should the clearomizers last if the VG doesn't demolish them? I also bought some cartomizers just in case, but I have no experience filling them. Just watched a few YouTube vids. Thanks in advance!
PS, ridiculous question - I'm allergic to nickel, and so picked up a rubberized black e-cig, but there's still metal involved. I wonder if any other folks with nickel allergies have experience with e-cigs and whether I'm going to have issues. The mouthpiece is plastic, so that seems okay, but the button is on the metal part. Not sure if it's going to be an issue.
