I'm a new e-smoker and through trial and error I have found I get an unpleasant reaction to e-juices containing even 20% PG. I have tried different ratios of PG/VG with the same nicotine strength and have concluded its the PG. The reaction includes lip numbness, headache, and nausea. I am not normally very chemically sensitive, and have no other allergies. I know others have experienced the same thing so its not all in my head.

I now have 100% VG e-juice, its great, and I can use my fancy new e-cig equipment I bought with the help of this forum. I love my Vision Spinners.

My first clearomizer, a Vision Ego 2.0, does not feed the 100%VG e-juice well (It worked fine with 50/50 PG VG).
I added some distilled water to my juice to thin it a bit, but it doesn't stay mixed with VG very well. That helped for a day or two, but now it only puts out thin, dry hits. I have variable voltage, and no setting works good. My atomizer has no problems with it.

Would someone care to recommend a good clearomizer for 100 % VG juice ? Do bottom coil tanks work better with 100% VG ? I have my eye on a Kanger Pro Tank.

Also how do I get distilled water to stay mixed with VG ?

What scenario requires more than 3.7 volts ?

Thanks

I use 100% vg. I use a Kanger T3 clearomiser, bottom coil !. No problems. If the juice was thinner it would leak !. Take a look at an evod or even a protank. Voltage ?, depends on ohm's of the coil. T3's for example are usually 2.5 ohm's so voltage needs to be about 4.3v or there abouts. Less voltage with the same coil would produce less vapour and too many volts would burn the wick and then the coil would eventually pop. Google "vaping power chart". It gives you a good idea of wattage, volts and ohm's. Can't help you with the distilled water sorry.

Can try a couple of triangle shaped cutouts on the opaque rubber that fits over the atomizer head, where the wicks go into the coil.

I second that. Cut two wedges, 180 degrees apart. I've done this since I saw Phil Busardo do it in either the Vape Only BCC review or Protank review. It seems to shorten the amount of time required between hits.

On bottom coil clearos, you can remove some of the flavor wicks that lay on top of the coil to aid in wicking of viscous juices.

A few drops of Vodka can thin out 100% VG fairly well also. As far as the water separating out, heat it up. Add your distilled water, no more than 5-10% and heat the bottle then shake thoroughly. You have to raise the temperature of VG to bring its viscocity in line with whatever thinner you decide to use be it alc or h2o. Hot tap water for a few minutes is sufficient.

Thanks to everybody that responded. I tried the the cut a triangle trick and its working better. Gonna get a bottom coil clearomizer also. And turning the voltage to 4.3 helped with the 2.4 ohm head on the clearomizer. Was hard to tell what was working best with the feeding issue.

Cool !......:2cool:

I have use my Kanger bottom coil clearomizers with 100% VG eliquids successfully--but it all depends on viscosity of your juice. Do you DIY? If so, do not mix more than 20% water--it will not vape well. Usually the ratio is 85/15 VG/water. I use ready made juices, mostly.

You want to vape at 5-8 watts range; you'll have to find your own sweet spot, though. Use this calculator, at least at the beginning.

Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator

Just plug in the numbers (voltage and resistance) to figure out what wattage you like best.

I have been using 100% VG without water or any other diluent in a Kanger T2, and it works pretty well. I have been advised my several 'VG only' users to get a Vision Vivi Nova, but I haven't had the money for one yet. Just make sure you get a genuine Vision brand and not a knockoff, I have heard the knockoffs have issues.

Hey I just received an order from a new vendor I wanted to try out. I ordered about 10 30ml bottles of 70vg 30h2o. I have already ruined 4 cartomizers. Actually got a really bad burnt taste and immediately threw them in the garbage. I contacted the vendor and they told me to let it steep for 3 weeks and the h2o and the vg will blend. I find this hard to believe. I think what is happening is only the h2o is making it to the coil causing the nasty dry hits. If I shake up the bottle you can clearly see the h2o and the vg separate. If i heat this mixture up to get it to blend will it stay blended? If it does not that method is pretty much useless because they will obviously separate in my cartomizer and cause the same problem I would think? Im sensitive to PG I have found but only if I vape 50/50 pretty hard. Im thinking maybe I should of ordered 80vg50pg instead any help would be appreciated thanks.
