I bought the basic Joye 510 starter kit from Cignot with extra 20ml Joye Marlboro 18mg juice and a 5ml Camel 26mg bottle.
The basic cartridges were loaded with 18mg Marlboro.

BTW. cignot.com is a great place to order from. Great service!
I think their prices are good but I don't care about that sort of thing.
For me it's all about service.

I have been smoking up to 2 packs a day for the past 5 years and 1 pack a day for 25 years.
Generally smoke imported Dunhill lights as us cigarettes mostly suck.

The 510 is a great product.
It vapes well.
It's well made, feels good and for me at least feels just like holding a regular cigarette.
It is also doing what it is supposed to do and that is provide one with nicotine so one doesn't crave analogs.

It could certainly be a replacement or alternative to smoking and I know my days of smoking analog cigarettes are very limited.
IF I got the right juice I would already have quit.
So for that I am excited!

The only real negative is the battery.
They suck but I knew that when I ordered them.
Mine seem to last about 2 hours.
As a minimum one needs the mega batteries or a mod.

The key to switching over to a PV is the juice or liquid.
At least that's how I see it.
I HATE the flavor of the juices I got but that's OK.
I know now I need to try some variety sample packs until I discover what I like.

Also I think it's necessary to get a Passthrough or at least a PCC.
I didn't get either so need to fix that.

The perfect noobie 510 order would be-

Starter kit with a PCC and or Passthrough.
Extra batteries OR the mega's.
As much variety of juice as one can afford.

I am unsure about the atty's (atomizer) yet.
Need to spend more time before I comment on them.

All in all a product that for me at least will change my life and SAVE my life!

Thanks again to everyone here who gave so much of their time to help me.
I look forward to returning the favor.

I just got the very same starter kit in the mail today from Cignot (slightly different flavors though), and I have been using it much like I would have normally smoked analogs on a day off, which means almost constantly. I started almost 5 1/2 hours ago, and my battery still seems to be going strong (straight out of the shipping package with no extra charge). I don't know if I got an extra good battery, or maybe I am not using it as much as I really think, but it is between my fingers as I type, just like an analog would normally have been.
And I see this as the perfect way to stop smoking analogs.

from Cignot today. I ordered the 510 set with PCC, menthol and RV4 flavors. Plus a couple of extra ejuice flavore: cappacino and english toffee.

I'm ordering a pass-through elsewhere because I saw them for 14.95 on other websites, just can't remember which ones.

How long did it take for delivery?

I ordered on Wednesday and got it on Saturday. Mail to my area can sometimes be a bit slow because I live in a rural area, but I think that 3 days in not too shabby.

Sounds like both of you new guys are doing good.

The atty may need to break in. Did you blow it out first? Drip a couple of liquid drops on it. Probably it will get better.

FYI Surprisingly some Non Menthol smokers like Menthol liquid!

Yeah I did blow out the atty first, thanks.

You know I heard that before about the Menthol thing.
Some of that go go juice is on my list.

I'm totally lost as to what to get so just going to randomly select some flavors.
It's just trial and error I think.

I just now tried a new blank cartridge and filled it (12 drops) with the Marlboro 18mg. Better than the prefilled ones but still the flavor is a bit nasty.
There seems to be a slight chemical taste?????

Thanks

I live in a rural area too. And 3 days is really good. I can't wait. Hopefully I bought my last carton of analogs today. And wouldn't you know it? They gave me the wrong kind even though I pointed it out to her.

The capuccino that comes with cignots starter kits is flippin lovely - I just wanted to vape it straight down. Didn't like the marlb so much (but I went back to it like a week or 2 later and that didnt last because I suddenly loved that too lol) but I also got some extras from other places. Good juice makes ALL the difference but I really did enjoy the cappucino carts.
If you like fruits btw and want to order everything from one place, get some of the BASIC juice line that cignot do - its made in USA, and all VG and really really good.
The ordinary juices they sell (like the marlb etc) are 'ok' but not stellar; some I hated, and I never recommend those ones lol.
The ecopure and BASIC though - different class entirely.
I still think its a good idea to buy many juices, in different nic levels (unless you already KNOW which level is 'best' for you), from different vendors to get a good 'feel' for vaping.
Once you find a real favorite flavor, you whole experience will go up to a new level of awesome.

Hi Chazzman, I'm a newbie too. I think that the liquids you ordered are all PG, aren't they? I've noticed a big difference between PG and VG. I find the PG liquids taste chemical and leave a heavy aftertaste in my mouth and a wierd feeling on my tongue. I love the VG juices though and they have made all the difference in the world in my vaping experience.

I am not sure but I think the battery life depends on how you smoke them. My husband and I both got our 510's Friday and charged for the eight hours, used and then charged for another hour. When I inhale-exhale I get a tiny vapor cloud while my husband has a large vapor cloud. He smoked Marlboro and I smoked Ultra lights. My battery has lasted about 5-6 hours while he only got about 2 hours. We both smoked about a carton a week but I know I am not inhaling as long or as deep as he is.

One of the sample flavors I got was clove. Haven't smoked a clove cigarette in years but I really like the taste. I just need to get some in -0- nicotine level to get the nic level down a bit as the 26mg is making me light headed after a few vapes...LOL

Aye there Captain!!
I agree with all you say.
The Cappuccino sounds like a good move for me as I love cappuccino :D

I noticed on the cignot site they have this new basic juice and they say it's high quality. Is that the stuff you've tried?
As you mention too the ecopure is supposed to be excellent quality also.

I just need more juice and I'll be fine

As always
My thanks.......

PG and VG.....
I have no clue what the difference is although I've heard the terms just have no clue, sorry.

Ohhhhh. yes, I can relate to the effects you have from PG.
I just looked at the bottle of my marlboro and it says PG.
Thats where the chemical taste I'm getting comes from.
Ah. DUH.......

I'll get some VG then :D
Thank you oh wise one

Howdy there my friend.....

Clove huh? Could be ok.
I get the head rush thing and light headed too!!
Think it's this 26mg small bottle I got of "Desert Ship" which is supposed to be like Camels.

5-6 hours from a 510 battery is amazing!!!
I'm lucky to get 1 and a half hours it seems.

I gotta say I was thinking last night just how we are supposed to smoke these things? I mean do we drag on them for say 15 puffs and put it down for half an hour or what?

I have noticed that the 510 gets hot if you vape too much.
I guess that's normal though.

Hows the warm weather out there?
Hate it here in Seattle. We get 4 seasons.
Rain. Rain. Rain and then of course in summer........
More rain.

Cheers.

Hey! Easy on the Margarita's!!
They only make ya vape more.
:D :D :D :D
