Congrats on the switch over.

The 520 is certainly a great product but as I said I need to get some yummy juice. This tobacco flavor stuff sucks for me!

Man you got a good battery, that is most unusual!
Normally, 2 hours is it.

You got lucky I think :D

Cignot's VG English Toffee and Starpuffs are the best I've tried so far. I also like RY4. but I need to order that in VG.

As noted in my other post. I went with PG initially because most people seemed to like it better. Not this girl - I think that's one factor in that skanky burnt pee taste. It seems to burn a lot easier, and I think when you are new at vaping, you tend to suck too much.

That is all.

:D

I will get some VG then.
AND going to try this RY4 that so many seem to like.
Thanks again, Lisbeth! :)

The solution to your 510 battery issues is simple. You need 2 batteries and a PCC. Every night make sure you charge both batteries so that when you wake up you have 2 fully charged batteries. Vape a little with the first battery and then throw it in the PCC and start using the second battery. Every time the red light goes out on the PCC swap the batteries and do this all day long. It's not much different than pulling a new analog out of a pack when you wanted to smoke.

I never vape a battery completely dead. Lithium Ion batteries charge much faster when they're not completely drained. If you follow this method you will be vaping all day with a freshly charged battery every time.

I have a 901 with a passthrough, but never use it because I like the 510 better and I don't like being tethered to a cord like that.

Thanks for that!
I was thinking of getting two more or maybe 2 mega's.
I was also wanting the passthrough but you don't like it huh?

I spend all day in the studio at the computer so thought this would be a logical choice but now wanting to hear more of your thoughts, please?

I have a PT and I love it! It is by my computer and when I am online, I just sit and vape away...no worry about batteries. Some people have them in their cars and never have to worry about batteries going out while they commute. I find that my PT also performs better than the standard ecig....lots more vapor and we all love lots and lots of vapor!!!

Aye there Captain!!
I agree with all you say.
The Cappuccino sounds like a good move for me as I love cappuccino :D

I noticed on the cignot site they have this new basic juice and they say it's high quality. Is that the stuff you've tried?
As you mention too the ecopure is supposed to be excellent quality also.

I just need more juice and I'll be fine

As always
My thanks.......

I do enjoy the BASIC range of juices from cignot - really nice fruity flavors and very clean; no oily residue in the mouth like some VG juices Ive tried. The ecopure is also high quality its just pricey for the amounts - Ive tried the toffee and its nice.
See my sigline for places I shop at regularly for juices :)

(FYI I have far far too many juices, I have no self control with flavors lol)

Edit: I also love love my PTs but Id recommend using a USB/AC wall plug rather than risking your PC ports. I got my wall plug from madvapes.

I'm going to order a lot of juice later this week.
For sure I will get a couple of "Basic" from cignot but may try a couple of the ecopure too. So many juices to choose from I think it's just trial and error, huh? Never tried the VG so going to try that as I feel it may be a bit smoother.

Has there been reports of problems using a PT via a computer USB?
Just curious.

Cheers

nice review Chazzman!

i've been vaping for about a month now, and i just love my 510 from cignot. i have a PT since i'm in front of my computer pretty much all day, and i haven't had any problems with it. i too have heard stories of computers getting fried because of PTs, but i think that if you have an updated computer with a USB 2, you shouldn't have a problem either. you can always just get a USB wall adapter too. i actually have an adapter for my car so i don't have to worry about using up my batteries on long car rides. i think they're so convenient!

here's a thread about someone's work computer that got fried. :( http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecigarette-technical-issues/9213-fried-my-work-computer.html

+1 for cignot's BASIC juices! in fact, all my straight VG liquids are from them and they're fantastic. i prefer VG for the vapor production since i find inhaling heavy vapor much more satisfying than a throat hit. if i have my computer room door closed for an extended period of time, it looks like i hot boxed the place! :D

although that's not to say you shouldn't experiment with PG/VG mixes to find what you like best. Ms T's Bakery and Tasty Vapor have excellent liquids that are hand made to order, and both have a niche for mixing a good ratio. you can actually request a certain ratio from TV as well.

like your sig, it really is all about the juices! i think trying out juices is just one of the many highlights of vaping. ;)

Don't get me wrong, when I first got my passthrough I vaped it for hours on end. I used it a lot in my office too. The problem with it is that I vape what seems like every second of the day and it got too annoying to use the passthrough since it tethers you to it. When I get up to get a drink, to go to the bathroom, eat something, or whatever it's nice to take a quick pull or two from the 510 while I'm doing this. I won't even mention what its like to have to leave and actually do something outside. To me it's too impractical to be worth the hassle. I know a lot of people swear by their PT and I do kind of like it at times, but it's not something I could use everyday.

I've heard of lots of people complain about their 510 batteries, but I really think it's a world of difference when you always carry 2 batteries and a PCC (and keep swapping). The last time I saw my battery light blink (because it was fully dead) was about 2 weeks ago. The trick is to start the day with 2 fully charged and to keep switching when one is fully charged. It's definitely not as complicated as it sounds. Think of how you had to always go in your pocket and pull out the pack of smokes and grab your lighter and spark it up. That sounds like a lot of work too but you did it without even thinking about it. I always had a pack of analogs in my pocket and now it's a PCC...pretty much the same thing.

Oh yeah and VG is awesome! PG makes me much more dehydrated and I get stiff from that whole lactic acid production thing (I didn't know what was causing that until I read about it on ECF). I never tried BASIC but EcoPure is my main vape.

Congratz Chazzman! You're right about Cignot! Great company and service! I love the 510 and always buy my atties from there. I've moved on to 3.7 mods for the battery end of things and if you've not tried it yet..you should look into it...longer battery life, stronger vapor and brings out the flavors more.

Keep trying a wide range of 5ml bottles of lots of diff flavors or try what I did and grab some DIY gear and mix your own. The trick here is that your tastes will change the first few months faster than you can mix a bottle of juice..much less wait a few days for a bottle in the mail. So keep whatever you order or mix yourself to the smallest sizes so you can tweak, cut or otherwise adjust to your changing taste buds and sense of smell.

I am not sure but I think the battery life depends on how you smoke them. My husband and I both got our 510's Friday and charged for the eight hours, used and then charged for another hour. When I inhale-exhale I get a tiny vapor cloud while my husband has a large vapor cloud. He smoked Marlboro and I smoked Ultra lights. My battery has lasted about 5-6 hours while he only got about 2 hours. We both smoked about a carton a week but I know I am not inhaling as long or as deep as he is.

If you're using a manual battery you should try holding the button in for 2-3 seconds before you take your hit, it give the atty time to heat up and start making vapor, I've noticed the same difference between myself and my wife also. The longer/deeper hit you take the more vapor you get but giving the atty a little lead time will still help out some. And also the battery life is a bit dependent on the hit "style" also due to having to heat the atty for longer periods of time each hit.

Putting the batteries back into the PCC each time one is fully charged is a good way to make sure you're always getting the most out of it but after a while it can get a little old.....I'm going to be ordering a chuck soon for my at home use and probably an eGo/Tornado battery for work and just forgo the pcc....not sure yet about the eGo and such as i've heard stories about hitting the button while its in your pocket and burning the atty out by accident, but chuck for sure!

Thanks for your input there!
Ordering in a couple of days and will be getting a variety of VG/PG and DIY stuff from cignot. Also need a PCC.
Appreciate your thoughts.

I got my 510 about 3 weeks ago and I love it too. Cignot is the best!! Their customer service is out of this world and I got my orders in 2-3 days.

I also like the VG juices as I like the flavor and taste much better. My addiction is the coffee flavor. I got a sample of cappuccino and haven't even tried it yet. Its about the only thing I put in there now. I tried the watermelon, it was nice when mixed with the regular prefilled (marb 18) that came with the kit. I've cut my analog use down to almost nothing. And am hoping to be totally analog free by the weekend!!

I'd def get a pcc. I love mine and keep it with me all the time, never have to run out of batteries AND it also holds 3 extra filled cartridges or 2 cartridges and an extra atty if you so choose.

Forgot to say: I originally got the manual battery and it just didn't feel the same to me, I was still craving that holding in the hand. so I ordered an automatic and I have to say that the battery is lasting much longer. My manual would only last a few hours. I didn't charge it the 8 hours that they said to do, I just took it out and used it. I can get thru almost a day with it, but I also don't vape constantly.

When I started I was vaping 18mg tobacco flavors, found myself going for an analog when I had a craving and decided I didn't care for tobacco flavors so I moved on to different flavors. I found a few flavors that I liked but most of them left me with kind of a MEH feeling. I upped the nic to 26 mg and that still didn't solve the analog craving. Then I ordered some doublers from Tasty Vapor, they really rang my bell. Now I vape the 0 nic doublers most of the time and when I have a craving for an analog I just vape one of the other flavors that I like with 26mg nic instead and then go back to the TV flavors.
