Yeah, Blending is a Great way to Save an e-liquid that doesn't taste all that Great. Or to Change the Nicotine mg / PG:VG Ratios.

I'm not that Familar with BWB. Maybe Someone else can Chime in on them.

But I know that Green Apple goes well with Caramel.
And Watermelon goes Good with Pineapple or Cherry. Or Both.

Sounds tasty to me! Thanks!!! :toast:

I too had nose bleeds . Was aggravated by the drying effects of vaping , plus I live in a desert . So lack of humidity gave me nosebleeds . Every other day or so . Got really bothersome , so went to ENT and had a blood vessel in my nose cauterized . Took about ten minutes , as an out patient , sort of thing . Ta Da , no more nose bleeds .

Yeah, every other day would blow, can't imagine. Glad they fixed you up. I hope I don't have to go the ENT route but glad to hear there's a cure if it becomes chronic.

Crystal Light is a powder flavoring added to water. It contains Aspartame as the sweetener. No HFCS. I will start drinking more bottled water and see if that helps.

Is drinking CL a new habit as well? There are quite a lot of reports on Aspartame and nose-bleeds.

Google it.

Cut out CL and see if nose bleeds go away. Then, add it back in later and see if they return, as it might be a good thing to know if you have an aspartame allergy too.

If so, many ejuice contain artificial sweetners, which is why i bring that up. IF you have allergy, then you need to know this to vape juice w/out it.

I've been drinking strawberry-banana CL for around 8 months. I did a little research and was alarmed to see the potential side effects of aspartame. I'm surprised my daughter's nutritionists said CL was good to drink in substitution for her sodas. She didn't like it, but I did - go figure. I will discuss this with my Dr. at my next visit. In the meantime, I will hold off on the CL and see what happens. Thank you for the heads-up!

I won't say much about Aspertame because I have some Very Strong views about it.

Okay, im no doctor and neither are any of us, (unless I missed some one ). First of all Id say GO TO THE DOCTOR. If you have never suffered from heavy nose bleeds like that, it could be a symptom of many circulatory problems, coronary or symptoms of a stroke. Now that I ve scared you, here is another fact. Nicotine is a vaso-constrictor , meaning it constricts the veins and capillaries in our bodies, and that the blood has to work harder to get around from heart to all the parts of your body and especially your brain.
I dont remember exactly how much you smoked before and I dont think you mentioned the percentage of your nic in the juice you are using. Maybe you are getting to high of a nic dosage, Did you feel at all dizzy or get a buzz? Slow down, drink more water, suck on a mint or hard candy. You said you blood pressure was normal? did you actually test it with a reliable monitor?
If you recently quit smoking cigarettes and you mentioned you are on the slightly older side of the average lifetime, your body is going thru a lot of chemical and physiological changes. I think the subject has gone from a nose bleed and possibly something you are vaping to a discussion of high fructose vs sweeteners and aspartame etc. Drink some water.
PG is drying, and being what gives you the throat hit, it does to a point aggravate something in the mucous membranes, hence the nasal problems.
See your doctor, please, not to freak you out, but at our age, this is nothing to sneeze at so to speak.
I was reading this and jumped to another topic, but I could not resist giving my thoughts and to turn my back and ignore some health warnings would keep me up all night worrying about you.

that is pretty scary, how are you doing nowadays though?

Thank you for being concerned. Like I said earlier, I will be sure to see the Doc if I have another episode. I'm drinking bottled water now and as of last night no more CL until I talk to my Dr. I'm using the nasal mist daily and I'm vaping only occasionally until I buy some lower PG liquids. The Vapage strawberry juice I started on was 24mg. That was the juice I was using when I had my 1st episode. I have since been using 18mg. All my juices (besides the four 24mg vapage juices I originally bought) are all 18mg. So maybe I was getting too much nicotine. I'll be sure and keep you guys posted. Thank you again everyone for your help and concerns!
