I subohm at 30pg/70vg, recently I ordered 50/50 by mistake. I did buy some 30/70 to mix with the 50/50. I tried the 50/50 without mixing, noticed the obvious a bit more throat hit and a bit less cloud production. Here's what I don't understand, the inside of my nose itching like a 1000 ants running around and sneezing quite a bit. Coincidence or some kind of reaction?

You'll want to make sure of the cause, and see if the increased PG is the culprit.
So first, before tossing perfectly good juice, check to see if you actually do have ants in your nasal passages. If not, then take SonicBomb's advice and switch back to see if it goes away.

Seriously, though - I haven't heard of the itchy nose, but even 20% PG doesn't agree with me. For me, it causes a sensation in my mouth like I burned it with hot soup. Most common it seems is a raw, sore throat. But there are plenty of others that react differently to PG, so it wouldn't surprise me if you were sensitive to the increase.

Ants are fairly small but 1000 of them is a large mass. You must have a very large nose to accommodate that many. :D All kidding aside, im gonna say its probably PG sensitivity. 50% may be the tipping point for you.
Depends on the ant. Sugar ants are pretty dang small. They can crawl through porous concrete.

I personally vape 50/50 all the time. Even in a dripper. Can’t tolerate higher VG liquids. But sometimes if I vape a lot I can get an itchy nose, but definitely not feeling like ants are running around in my nostrils. I also have pet allergies and live with two cats so it’s hard to say.

Did you possibly exhale through your nose? And what flavor was it?

I actually just started having this feeling too, but I’m attributing it to flu shot side effects. I also had lower body aches. Much better than having the flu though.

I’m a actually a nurse so hearing that you received the flu vaccine makes me happy! Yes, very minor cold symptoms are common after an influenza vaccine. Most people say they “get the flu” after receiving it but it’s simply not true. I’m glad you narrowed it down to something other than your ejuice that’s causing your current symptoms. Should start feeling better in a couple days!

I’ve had the flu and there isn’t a lot of comparison. The flu is MUCH worse. It’s more like getting a tiny already dead piece of the flu, which is basically what happened.

Exactly.... medical researcher’s take the “dead” or “inactivated” piece of what they think are the four most common strains of influenza and develop a vaccine that stimulates your immune system to create antibodies. We base this research off of influenza strains from Asia in anticipation that these will be the strains that will affect the population of our country (US). It’s really hit or miss but better to be safe than sorry.
