Looks like you just broke the meaty part of the post screw. Try putting a small philips screwdriver under the center pin, and then push the ceramic deck up and out. If it works, you can just unscrew the broken part.
I hear you. Will it really push up and out? I thought the ceramic base screwed on.
I should've said something about this JIF. Some will push out with ease; others won't, and may crack if you try to force it. If it's really tight, and won't budge easily ... I wouldn't mess with it unless you have a spare ceramic deck to put back in it.
To my knowledge of the RM2, it' doesn't have threads and is not screwed in. It may be slightly glued by Rob, but it doesn't screw in.

I'll not do anything tonight. I'll let the thread grow with ideas before I do anything.
Easy fix!! Just just pull the 510 center pin, remove the whole base. Use a pair of pliers to get the remaining piece out.

I see some dried translucent insulation separating the center pin from the housing.

I have heard of it being done both ways, but I've always just removed mine from the bottom.

Just remember to mark your air hole on the Atty itself with a sharpie or something as there are two holes the neg post can screw into. The wrong hole and you air hole will not line up with the top cap

I looked through the pic heavy atomizer rebuild thread and I see that the bottom of the 510 pin has a slot for a flathead screwdriver, but mine does not.

If you have a small round file you can use it to remove the post . As long as your ground post isn't attached you can push the whole assembly out from the bottom
The Negative Post is the only thing securing the Ceramic Deck into the Base. You've broken that post, so now it should come on out. Depends on how tight it is down in the base though, or if it's blocking the ceramic deck. A Diamond Reamer works really good because it grips the inside of the brass of the center pin better. If you can find a Harbor Frieght in your area, run over and grab this pack. Diamond Point Rotary Bit Set 20 Pc
If you don't, you can order some cheap sets from Amazon. Amazon.com: diamond reamer: Industrial & Scientific
But hopefully, you can just push the ceramic deck up from the bottom, and you'll be able to grab the broken post and unscrew it.

Unfortunately, my spare post is a short one and is the long one that broke.

If you contact me I will give you my Ω meter and a RM2. It won't be a LP Rm2 but it will work the same.
Curious as to how you solved it.
Were you able to push from the bottom of the ceramic deck, and it come out through the top? What shape is the ceramic deck in? Dissecting the RM2 just brings you closer to the little bugger. 
I want to have as many spare parts for the RM2 as I can get.- Status
