I am new so I don't know the difference between a drip tip a tank system atomizers and cartomizers, I have a blu that I love, a joye 510 that is so so and threw away a volcano. I refill my blu's simply by squeezing in juice thru the top hole using a bottle top that looks like a needle blow out the excess and enjoy. Really even if I ruin one I will just chuck it. I laughed at the thought of putting a condom on it and tying a string somewhere and slinging it around that's a little much. I smoked 2-3 packs a day so i figure I can buy a new battery ever two weeks some juice and a pack of cartridges a week and spent less in a month than I spent in a week. I havent smoked in 47 days so I am winning.

Welcome ECF, I can definetely identify with the cost/benefit of vaping instead of smoking, here in NY packs are up to $10 and in NYC I've seem them up to $14 - Ridiculous if you ask me, thank God for pv's.

The atomizer is the heat element that vaporizes your fluid. The carto is the peice that holds the liquid for the atomizer to vaporize. A cartomizer combines both the atomizer and the carto, so you have a new heat element with every carto replacement.(verry convienient ) A drip tip alows you to easily add a few drops of e liquid onto a atomizer so you don't necessarily need a carto. A tank system is a big clear tube with a cartomizer inside with a top and bottom. The cilinder holds the juice and a hole punched in the encased cartomizer alows it to always be full of e liquid. Tanks often leek, but are great when they work.

To refill your carto or cartomizer, simply put some e liquid in one of the clear caps that comes on the end of your carto-cartomizer, and push the carto-cartomizer into the clear cap "scew" end first. fill the carto cap about 1/3 to 1/2 full.

Good for you and glad to hear that your Blu Ecig is doing the trick for you .... I think that some newbie's feel like they must try everything out there, and upgrade their PV styles and batteries etc, but I say if ain't broke, then there is no reason to fix it.
