My road to happy vaping was strewn with equipment that wasn't right for me. I've learned to do more research, and I do think some folks just vastly prefer one or the other, but I have found that over time I can deal with slightly lower resistances and airier tanks, but I'm still pretty firmly MTL.
I kept humor over it though, as frankly, almost no health condition is as vile and expensive to treat as COPD, so I considered it a useful price and I'm heading toward that break even moment with enough supplies to DIY and RTA for life, if necessary.
The stuff that didn't work just went into my vacopalypse closet and sat there until I found someone who would benefit from it as a gift, which was kind of gratifying. Stuff I'm talking I would
never vape. One reason I like to read the New Member's forum as often folks will start out with equipment they hate and I know that my loss may be their gain (and sometimes, hopefully, keep them on the vaping track) so Fidela, hang on to that tank, it may be of use to you or someone else in the future. I was also the recipient of generosity by members here early on, and I have to say that kind of exchange and welcome is one of the best things about this place, it kept me vaping forward
Similarly, if I win something, it's probably going somewhere at some point if it's not suited to my style though I mainly stick to contests I believe I will have a use for...
