Greetings,

I quit analogs about 2 months ago and have been trying many different varieties of vaping. I am now using the Joye 510 and while I like it a lot. I cannot seem to create enough vape. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I can hear the atty's fire up whether it's on the pass-through or battery but it's just not making enough vape even when I drip right on to the atty.

I've been using tobacco flavored PG 18mg from Widow's Beadwork. Is it the juice? I watch the you tube vids and see these guys creating tons of vape with their 510's and I can't come close to duplicating it.

Can someone help me out here?

Thanks

A few things to try:

1) Lite Clean you atty by doing the following: Wrap the threaded end loosely in paper towel and blow through the cart end hard. Wipe off the threads with the paper towel, and toss the paper towel. Get a new paper towel and repeat this process until no juice comes out, then prime the atty with 2 drops if you are using a filled cart or 5 drops if you are a dripper, then take a couple of puffs. (NOTE: I also do this when switching flavors. Its not an intensive clean so some of the old flavor will linger.)

2) As stated by others, try some juice with some VG in there. Yes this will decrease the TH slightly, but it will increase the volume of vapor produced.

3) Try a higher nic level. I know this sounds irrelevant, but many folks I have converted felt that there was "not enough vapor" but I use 12mg - 16mg and after swapping them to 24mg they felt it was a big improvement. They weren't really missing vapor, just not getting enough nic to satisfy. Now if you are already using 24 or 36, then ignore this.

4) Try a more potent battery or passthrough. Many vendors sell 5v passthrough fairly cheap ($15) that will let you try HV vaping without the high cost of a mod. Or if you are so inclined to do so, build a battery mod. Most 510 stock batteries are actually only delivering 3.1v and by building a basic box mod using 14500 batteries you can have a true 3.7v battery that lasts 5x as long as the stock batteries if no longer. If you look around the forum there are several people on here from PA, and I believe they have a meet up scheduled. So you may be able to try one of their 3.7v or 5v mods without having to invest in one yet.
