I am pretty frustrated and quickly becoming broke

I got a volt and it came with watermelon cartos. flavor? not so much. it wasn't bad, just so faint I could barely taste watermelon

Ordered some VG juice. 1st one I tried was orange cream. just nasty like an orange peel with that same bitter taste. I tried to salvage it with vanilla and can't taste that either

I also tried a their cinnamon. That one had a bit more flavor but still faint(and made me cough)

chocolate mint? I really thought this would be a perfect flavor for me. faint again and with nasty undertones

caramel? faint but with a coffee(yuck) undertone

all of these have this indescribable yuck bitter taste to them(rubbing alcohol) that makes vaping unpleasant.

I bought 19 to try from them, I am waiting for another 20 from honeyville(and now I am worried because they were cheap). In desperation last night I ordered triple flavor from top shelf vapes

I don't think my taste buds are fried because food is fine.

I am just whining. This was not what I expected after reading niquid reviews with people raving about how awesome they were. Other than the flavor, vaping is great! But I guess analogs did not taste that great either:p

Yeah it takes some time to find your all day vape. When i first started i spent a little to much money also but that was ok cause it was still cheaper than analogs... Im sure you'll find a good juice vendor to buy from. I get my liquid from freedomsmokeusa theve got all kinds of juices and you can pick your pg/vg mix and nic strengh that you want! Dont give up! Im sure you'll find a better device than what you have and a great juice to go with it! Good luck!

Cripes sorry to hear that, I'm having a bit of a fit with juices myself but no bad after taste. Are you using new cartos or re-using? I hate filler cartos for the reason sometimes you just can't get a bad flavor all the way out. The fillerless one's like ce2 (Flux deluxe), vortex 2, saphire are good to clean and reuse because of this. There is as always other issues or learning curves with with these type carto's. Good luck!

Gripe away if you need to. I was fortunate to find my all day early on. Personally, I think the volt could be a part of your problems. I bought one & ditched it soon after. It seems to mute all flavor from juices to me. Also, whereas taste is very subjective, I tried many fruits & dessert flavors & they were just not for me. Keep looking. The right mix will show up.

+ 1, not a fan of fruit, soda, candy, dessert flavors, but each person's taste is different.

I researched here and tried the most popular flavors, most didn't work for me. I stopped at 7 vendors and only 30 flavors because I didn't want to go broke. Is 'the perfect' flavor for me out there? Probably, but I wanted to move on. Muted flavors could be due to your equipment or sensory overload with so many flavors. The sense of smell is also a factor. You're not whining, just "sharing" your experience. Hope you find the right ones soon. :)

Also, if you hang out in this section of the forum awhile you'll notice certain vendors mentioned A LOT. I think you might be safer to hit up one of them -- a "safe" choice until you find your legs enough to have juice that you think is at least OK -- to tide you over while finding one you really like.

I don't know anything about the Volt, but flavor has not been an issue on either my Ego-T nor when I was using KR808D1 cartos -- so the post above could very well be homing in on your problem.

Just one man's opinion -- I haven't been too pleased (but not too upset) with any of the Honeyville Vapors products I've tried. OTOH I've been super happy with both Backwoods Brew and Mister E Liquid. YMMV, of course... :)

It takes sometimes up to 18 months to find a good, hardy daily vape. Dont be too frustrated, many of us have countless amounts of juice that we simply cannot vape because they were not what we expected/were too weak/too strong.... That is what is great about the vaping community though! We all have different and they are all subjective!

I used a manual 510, and an ego with a atty/tank type-b. I was so unhappy i went back to analogs, until i bought a variable voltage device. I was convinced that i just can't taste anything, but not anymore. Using a higher voltage makes a warmer vapor and brings a lot of flavor with it. The range that makes the most flavor is different for each juice and even my mood. I can go on and on about how nice it is and all the the benefits of VV. You will not regret the money spent on it. I say change your device and all those juices you got will be vaped in no time.
