Well After my other thread, and doing some reading, I think im going to pick up an adapter, get some 510 Cartos and also think I may pick up a Go-Go, people seem to love them.

Anyways, while I wait for my drip tip, I made my own. It seem that some say they get quite a bit out of 3-4 drips in the 901 atty. I get about 6-7 good hits off of my 901 with 4 drip before it really starts to taste burnt.

Also with a Cart in, even if its filled, if I do not keep the atty wet by dripping, after 10-15 puff it starts to taste awful.

Anyone have any tips or remedys for this. My LR attys should be in today. I CONSTANTLY like to vape, so im just worried this is going to end up being a more exspensive habbit than smoking analogs if I can't find a device or devise a way so that im not constaly adding 3-4 drops to my atty and direct dripping every 15 minutes

Am I just exspecting to much?

I really think ill use my 901 for Direct dripping, and buy a Go-Go for my daily activities, cartomizers seem to be the way to go for me from what I've been reading. tanks as well, but to many complains of constant maitnence is going to keep me away from it.

Welcome back. Go-go's are priortary?(sp).. meaning you can only use the cartomizers that fit it. Look here for boge cartos.
20% off your whole order!
Also with a 20% discount.
You could also look a nhaler.com They have some mega hugh cartomizers that just came in, but the threads are 510's. You could consider buy a 510 battery or get an adapter to fit your 901.
Unfortunely, ecigs are constant maintenance....there is no running to the corner store for supplies. This industry is still in its infancy, and new products are being developed all the time.
I do the maintenance and put up with the inconvenience because 1. No more 4000 chemicals being put in my body. 2. It tastes sooo much better than a dirty ashtray and 3. My health has improved a thousand fold.
You decide, its your health.

One thing that worrys me with the go go, and some cartomizers in general is the fact that only 2 suppliers carry Go-Carts.. and 1 of them is out of stock. Afraid even if I stock up a bit, if when is tart to run low their all out of stock.

Granted I'll have my 901.. and 510 accesories once i pick up an adapter. Just worrys me a little bit.

Maitnence such as draining every couple of days, topping up etc doesnt really bother me so much. Its just that my 901 standard carts don't seem to find their way down to the wick, even if I let it sit for a bit in between vapes..

I have to constantly drip, when i am at home it doesnt bother me so much, but at work.. stopping what im doing, topping up the atty gets very old very quick.

The Boges are not mega carts. The ones at nhaler are. I will see if I can find you a link for them.

I think 808 will fit ---some say no adapter needed because the Riva 901 has the 2 wholes for air flow. Vapor4life pre-filled cartos are said to work without and adapter. Others, not so sure....if you decided to buy 808 cartos then you may need a 901/808 adapter even tho the threads would fit, you need the air flow.

ps adapters at goodprophets.com are only .99

Also, are their any Cartomizers that will fit on a Riva 901 battery natively without adapters? Im tempted to just buy an eGo kit with the 1100MAH batterys as well, seems like itd be easier than swapping out adapters for when I want to charge

The riva 510 lite from liberty flights is a good unit for under 30 bucks. I use it for drip testing my juices for the gogo and as a security backup for my gogo when I'm out all day. I got some boge LR 1.2ml cartos and they last a pretty good while and give a fairly decent hit.

You're right. The gogo isn't for everybody. :)

And it might not be the best thing to recommend to someone new. The carts are huge. Those new to vaping tend to need a little time to figure out what flavors they like and what nic levels work for them. Filling a huge cartomizer with a flavor you don't like or one that too much nicotine... well, I think you get my point. Large juice capacity devices aren't friendly to figuring out what works for you. If the go-go had a simple atty option for dripping or an inexpensive small carto option, that would be different.

I like the thought of the go go holding enough liequid so that I can vape all day while im at work and not have to worry about dripping, or refilling often if at all. Also even if the carts lasted only a few days it wouldent bug me to much. Next week I think im going to order up an adapter and some mega 510 cartos and see how they work for me, then possibly pick up a go go

This is all very true and kudos to you for bringing out those points. A 510 adaptor for the gogo would solve all those challenges by providing limitless options for the product. Let's hope the vendors make it happen soon.

I have the same reservations as six regarding the go-go for new guys and I've voiced them in other threads. I'm in the habit of using some higher nic juice at times as well, I don't see the go-go working for that either. I've heard there's a 901 adapter in the works but, haven't seen it.

You go-go fans love those things don't you. :)

Shady: All I can say is this... I vaped from a DSE 901, cart, atty, and auto-battery for a while. I switched to Cartomizers, and I'm not going back to basic atomizer, ever. I always had lots of problems with a normal atomizer. Over-filled, Under-filled, cleaning, cost... it was all too much of a hassle.

With cartomizers if one burns up, you just order new ones... each cartomizer costs like 2 dollars perhaps? Even filled with juice this is a fairly decent deal, if it gets nasty or burnt up, toss it out.

A new cartomizer by itself (Most sites are sold out of them) costs from 10-12 dollars.

I'm not sure how you like to smoke.. but I always made sure to keep two atomizers around, for when one got gunked up, I could clean it while using the other. I was ordering extra atomizers all the time.

Make your first order with cartomizers and you are going to have basically 20 cartos that are refillable for the price of 2 atomizers. So much easier to throw away, and fresher flavor...

However... I know there are adapters that you can use your 901 batteries on 808D-1 cartomizers, so if you want use your old 901 batteries on some cartos, it should be a simple 10 dollar buy for permanent change over. (the adapter basically adds a hole in the flow)

In the 901 series.. the air hole was in the atomizer, not in the battery.
Cartomizers are the exact opposite, the air hole is in the battery, not the cartomizer.

I hope this information is helpful.

I just ordered some adapters, LR Boge Cartos, a few differant types of liquid to give a try from good prophets. I'm really having a hard time finding a liquid I like. I have some from liberty flights which is pretty good but their just not what I exspected. I ordered a couple 70/20 PG High Calibur liquids and the only oen I like is Red and White, and it tastes nothing like tobacco, tastes more like a sweet vanilla, and its better than the vanialla 70/20 PG I got from Libery Flights

I ordred a few 50/50 PG/VG liquids and a few 3ML bottles of Pure VG to try for dripping, I'd assume pure VG would be a little to thick for a carto and might not vape properly.

If you guys have any recomendations for liquids I'd love to hear them, pref in 10ML bottles or smaller so I can try some before I buy big. I'd like to find 2-3 flavors I really like and just stock up a bit
