sometimes after batty change , she just dont wanna fire up, thinking with the extra space in the housing the batts with the pastic come around the bottom and the batts not making contac. getting multi-meter tomorrow, will be able to figure out more. thx

I took a razor and gently trimmed off the bottom plastic on the batteries and have has no such problems anymore.

DO NOT remove the entire plactic but if you do just the bottom you should be fine.

was afraid to trim plastic for fear of cutting into battery, so 1 wrap of tape around battery, and twisted the end-cap spring with needle nose to make it a little smaller coil at the end, it now makes contac everytimeand my problems seem to be solved. have had no trouble since i did these things yesterday. this device is a beast. the best vape i have had so far.
i dont like the tape so i am going to come up with something else, maybe some kind of plastic sleeve insert that will take up the extra space in the battery chamber. i will keep you updated. thanks to everyone.

HAVE A GREAT DAY

I have the same problem from time to time. My meter shows that the bats have the correct charge, but sometimes the Prodigy simply won't fire on a fresh set. I keep two fully charged sets on hand at all times though, so when one acts finicky I just use another set.

I just ran into the same problem today on one of my mods, got my Tenergy 3v CR123a's in today and tossed them in, and no vapor. I was originally using some primary's with it and they only covered the very edge with the wrapper. Ended up getting a new spring, wish I'd though about just trimming off the wrapper! Could have saved myself $1.86...
