Just started with the Vapage 650, I am trying to quit smoking actually. I have DVT at age 47 and have smoked for 27 years approx. The Vapage 650 is just not what i thought it would be and is a lot of hassle. I am thinking i just didnt spend enough or knew enough about them, I bought this at a local tobacco shop. Just wondering if there are any suggestions out there as to what I might prefer. I want something that hits more like a cigarette, dont like the wick. I would also like something i could continue to "puff" on once I have quit as I like to have something especially when i drink.

Thanks for any replies!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forums, Thamlin, and congrats on the decision to switch!

Looks like the Vapage 650 is a standard eGo battery with a clearomizer of unknown resistance.
You would be much happier with an eGo Twist or Spinner battery and a better clearomizer with a lower resistance. Something in the 1.7 ohm range.
There are kits with this set-up for not much more than you paid for the Vapage... give me a few minutes and I'll see if I can track one down for you...

Just a quick search and I found this one. for $70 you get 2 batteries, 2 Kanger Mini Protank 2s, and a charger... then all you would need is juice!

If you want something simple and just plain works and works well I recommend vapor4life's Zeus kit WOW Vapor Zeus Dual Mode E-Cig Kit | Ecig | Ecigarette | Starter Kits | by V4L
I keep one on standby and or carry one with me when I wana be discreet not lug around a mod. the Smileomizers last a long time on them but I recommend you get an extra 5pack to have on hand and or use for different flavors.

The OP's title says U-turn which I believe is a multi volt battery just like the Twist or Spinner.

I have not tried the Vapage 650 but I can see why you may not like it.

Let me suggest a MVP-2 and an Iclear 30 - should come as a set for less than $50.00. For E-liquid you can find a huge number of opinions and recommendations on ECF. I DIY my liquid so I can't help with specifics. I will suggest you get a tobacco flavor for the bar and fruit flavors for every day. Do not set your ecig down in the bar ever! I can assure you it will be gooooooone!

Thamlin, for now, just stick with the batteries that you have and maybe pick up an Aspire Nautilus Mini (it uses the new Bottom Vertical Coils or BVC) the performance on that will be 10x better than what you're using now,and you can adjust the voltage on your battery to give you a little more punch... also, I don't know what nic level you are vaping, but maybe get something around 18-24mg juice with a higher PG ratio. 70/30 pg/vg that should give you the throat hit that you're looking for.
That being said, you should understand that PVs are not cigarettes... there will be a difference, but it just takes a little bit of getting used to.
Good luck and best wishes.
