The type B's vape dry in only a few puffs and then you have to wait for a bit for more juice to flow, and even with blue foam there's still a lot of juice left in it.

However the 510 mega will still vape for hours and never runs dry until its actually out.

Think I'm going to use my 510 mega atty and carts w/ the 900mah battery, the cone is going to look a little odd though.

Meh, I use the xl cartos on my eGo. Looks cool. I almost immediately gave up the carts because of the same thing.

I will never have to buy 510 cartos again, but I have many. I will never have to buy 510 mega atties, but I have many. I also have 510 XL CE2 V4 cartos, 801 LR and HV, 901 LR and HV, 510 LR and HV atties that I will never have to buy again. This is because I have learned to love both the cylinder and cone versions of the XL eGo atties. I do replace the over packed stock filler with my own customized density of white aquarium polyfil. I do trim the metal skirts down on some of them to use them on a variety of devices (with adapters). On the cone versions, I do an easy ZFM mod that works flawlessly. I do believe they are the best atties available, that I have used, since I started vaping in January. Just my :2c::2cool:

So you're using a big block of fluval (or equivalent)? I put my usual blue foam in there - only I had to roll it up several times to cover the sheer size of the cart.

Are you using the silicone cap as a zfm or something else? I tried a plastic paperclip and blue foam but it leaked a lot.

I'm very disappointed, I REALLY want to use the 2.5ml carts - I want to just grab the 900mah battery, pop a atty&cart on and just go with it for the majority of the day.

I've futzed around a small bit with cartomizers, but didnt like em very much.

Thus far, I have only tried the XL mega cartomizer. It holds 1.8 ml and vapes like a dream. I just ordered every other cart i could find from 3 different vendors, Madvapes, FSSUSA and LF. I have used a KR808 for about 6 months very happily but just had to try the ego. Now I have 2 Rivas and 2 egos, (back ups) along with 7 KR XL bats.

My point is i love carts and i'm basically lazy soo I think based on the ega I'll find some that will work.

They sure go thru the juice

Nope, I'm using a filter fiber that's loose in a bag. For all aquariums. 'Loving Pets' brand. I roll it between my hands to make an appropriate density (this is the key) cone-like cylinder of fiber. Inserting the pointy end into the cart, then trimming the excess off level to the opening.

For the Cone (not cylinder) atty, use the silicone cap off a normal 510 cartridge. The one thats flat on two sides, fits exactly into the cone atty cartridge. Just trim it down a bit, cut a vee notch in the flat sides and punch a hole in the middle of it with a metal pen end that's been filed flat.

These carts will never hold that much, I wish they did! It's almost 2 ml. When I go out, I always carry at least 2 units, usually 3. Sometimes 1300mah Hello 016s or 1000mah Tornados or 750mah Rivas or 650mah Tornados or the GGTB or some combination. I would never just depend on 1 unit. Everything lasts better if you don't over use any one unit and rotate.

With patience, you'll find what works for you. BTW, that's one ugly fish in your avatar.
