Just thought i'd share a little something that happened this morning in regards to capitalnicfit.com

Here's how it all started.

I was looking for a vendor in my area to pick up juices from localy. I have nothing agaisnt buying from BC or anywhere out west, but as we all know, when you run out of something, you want it yesterday, not in 2 weeks.

So i get in touch with this guy from Ottawa and ask about his prices as i find them quite high(25$) + 8$ for shipping compared to the rest of the big names out there. He mentions that taxes are already included. Fine ... so roughly 22-23$ a 30ml bottle. Still kinda way up there right? But he also offers a 20% coupon code for everyone needing a shippment, but upon demand only.

So any sucker who didn't read this fine print, or doesn't think to email him to ask for this coupon prior to placing the order on the website wont get the rebate? Yeah ... that sounds fair ...

He also boasts free delivery in the surrounding areas, so i say to myself, well ... that might be worth the price hike. But apparently i live a bit to far for delivery. No go.

So i ask, seeing i work so close to where he resides, maybe we could arrange for a meeting during lunch break or something. If so, would he apply his 20% coupon seeing i'm coming to pick it up? Nope! So at 25$ a bottle ... i say pass.

Anyways, i keep looking and find a thread for another vendor in Ottawa and ask him if he carries Nic juice while mentioning that the only other guy in the area is sorely overpriced. Loh! and behold, some random 10 post account replies right after me stipulating that capitalnic.fit is right there in line with all the other suppliers prices, countering my statement. Jani Ottawa was the name he went under.

So i wrote back saying why i found it so pricy, misinformed at the time perhaps about a few things, but all the same supporting my previous statement with such vendors as Jugheads.co and Gentlemen's Reserve.

So this morning, i open my inbox and see an email from capitalnicfit.com(how they got my email is beyond me) essentially serving me a cease and desist. Telling me they tracked my IP and are ready to take legal measures if necessary to stop this "slander". HAH. Since when is it against the law to post my own ideas on a forum board?

Mind you i might have posted wrong prices(thought it was 30$ a bottle at 1st) and was confused by his shipping fees/coupon code refund of shipping fees stupidity, but that's no reason to jump to arms. A simple PM or email(seeing he had tracked me down somehow) with a simple correction to my erring train of thought was all it would have taken. No need to get all uppity about it and threaten me with legal action. Thats just ......ed.

So i took down my post for the love of not being sued, but put up this thread instead to inform everyone just how this guys does business. Just as i was finishing this line, he sent me another message back threatening to have the mods suspend or ban my account too. Gotta love this ignorant fool.

So to Mr. Jani Ottawa, Mr. S. or Mr paranoid capitalnicfit.com ghost who wont even sign off emails with his own name for fear of repercussions, i really do hope you peruse ECF every day and see this.

This is my OPINION. Not SLANDER. This is my opinion of you, your business, and all your shady oppressive tactics.

Yeah, that's what i'm starting to do too. But it's always fun to try out new premixed juices from time to time. Gives you ideas on what to create yourself!

I see no reason to support a new vendor that is treating anyone on ECF poorly. Word will spread rather quickly if they treat any others the way you have been treated.

They have a very poor chance of succeeding if what you're saying is true.

I know a few of these suppliers are out west, but try using people like canadianelectronicsvapor.com, elektrajuice.com, or mapleleafvapes.com I've had good experiences with them.

They are not too new it seems. They've been around for a while. But sadly, this is what i got from them.

I tried to get something from electra once too, but sadly, my credit union doesnt support Interac transfers. Hope they get credit card payment options soon because i'm dying to try our a few of their flavorings

this is not slander more of a review and in my opinion a very shady vendor trying to use scare tactics to keep his name clean
to capitalnicfit , try using good customer service to attract business
we are the consumer and we dont have to put up with ur bs
its hard to believe they are threatening to have u banned

i think its worth it , customers shouldnt be treated like that if he wants to charge outrageous prices thats his choice but poor customer service is suicide when we have great people like jack @ hv or jughead or mlv or electro vapor ... the list goes on and on but these people go above and beyond for customers

Ya Jani sent me a PM once to look at capitalnicfit. I replied that the prices were way too high. I don't order from there just because of the high prices. www.mapleleafvapes is an excellent vendor. East Toronto area. Ian always goes out of his way and more to make sure you get what you need. I suggest you try him first, as his shipping is $8. Pretty good. www.happyvaper is good also, he can be found at Dr. Fleas flea market if you are ever in the Toronto area on a Sat. or Sun.
No way should a vendor treat a member on ECF like that. That's just pure "Bad Business"!!!!

I have to say that all my experience with capitalnicfit.com has been excellent. As far as pricing goes, that is what happens in a free market. Vendors can charge what the market will bear.
I find that the excellent customer service provided to me makes the pricing worthwhile.

That said, he is still harassing me via email. I would really love to know how he got my personal home email and IP address. At 1st i thought it might have been given by the ECF mods seeing i was "slandering" in his own words ... but then i remembered that i had registered to this website from my work email. So it cant be that.

This is indeed getting annoying. If he has anything to say, or wants to defend his own arguments, then he should do so here. Not in my inbox.

Up to 12 emails back and forth with this guys ... he just wont let up. Now he's saying his lawyer will be contacting me shortly and that he has all my personal info. How he got all that legally is beyond me. There must be some sort of illegal hacking program or something or other involved.

All i have to say is, if he's thinking of going down that route, he better think again. He's the one selling a product illegally. Selling nicotine without a license in Canada is illegal i presume, which is why some suppliers have been shut down. If i do end up getting sued because of this, i wont shy away from bringing that up in the process.

Sorry to all those who appreciate capitalnicfit.com, but you might just have to find another vendor to buy from if this ends up going to court, because this guy will be getting heavilly fined and might have to shut down too.

This guy is being as douche ... pardon my french ... and deserves what is coming to him if he pushes any harder. I might as well lay in a harasment charge in there too while im at it, as i asked him 3 times to leave me alone and to stop spamming my inbox.

I woudn't worry.

First, he'd have to probably file small claims. Unless he plans to sue you for over $10,000/$15,000 (depending on your province. Small Claims, at least here in BC (dunno about Ontario) has a pretty dim view towards slander and libel cases. Dim as in they have little patience for them, and rarely offer rewards.

Second, if he files in regular court, that means a LOT of $$$$. A lot. His legal fees alone for setting something up like this through his lawyer would amount to healthy five digits.

Third, he's in a business selling stuff that HC has declared banned in Canada. Going "legal" as in law suit would shut him down pretty quick.

Fourth, I doubt he even has a lawyer. The threat of lawsuit is given by people in Canada who read too much US news, reality shows, or listen to shock radio from the US. In Canada, the courts and the law system (and lawyers) are a lot more conservative to this kind of thing. I'm not saying that libel and slander (two different things btw) lawsuits don't take place. They just don't take place often, and certainly not with small garage based businesses.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry anything about this. If you want to be more secure though, demand this guy contact you through his lawyer. Keep all his emails (print them out even), but stop responding. He's blowing hot air at this point.

DYODD, but I speak from experience. Seems like I've been threatened with lawsuits at least 500 times in 10 years because of things people write in the forums on a website I run; vast majority of lawsuit threads are from Americans, but every once in a while Canadians do it. I do have a law company on retainer for the website, and have consulted with them in the past on this issue, and I'm just parroting what they told me.

EDIT - but also, thanks for pointing out this vendor and his behaviour. I have very little tolerance for vendors / small business people who resort to the "cease and desist" or "I'll sue" mentality anytime someone has something critical to say about their business. I definitely won't be a customer of theirs. Their best course of action would have been to address your concerns, and explain they charge what they charge because they have goals in profits, etc.

When you read and search on the EFC, you find easily about CapitalNicFit coupon code for mail delivery.

Too far ?! where is that ? I see Ottawa as your location. I don't understand why Captialnicfit wouldn't deliver in Ottawa as that is their specialty. 25$ for what volume of liquid?

I know Capitalnicfit, the franchised Joyetech supplier in Ottawa. I saved my lungs, my life, and my friend's lungs with his e-cegs. I know Jani Ottawa too. 2 different persons.

There is no clear law. This circus could be shut down any time. It is not yet regulated.

It's easy to find their coupon code on internet. When you are looking for capitalnicfit mailing, you are looking for coupon codes.

If what you say is true, then i truely dont have anything to worry about. I've already sent all my emails with him to Misty per request to investigate this capitalnicfit deeper. They are already a banned supplier, and with encounters like these, hopefully for good.

I've already told him to go ahead with whatever lawyer he has planned, but he keeps ranting and raving in his spam emails. It's just getting irritating honestly. My inbox is a wall of spam right now. I've got them all saved up and will keep them just in case as well.

setup a spam filter in your email client. Set it to direct them to a folder and just keep them there.
