I bought a 510 when I first started with the vaporing...or vaporizing. I do like the 510 but I wanted to try something different, with a little less maintenance. So I got a KR808D-1. It's okay so far. The battery cutoff is still to short for me even though it is longer than most auto's. I like the idea of the auto batteries, being more like smoking, but this cutoff is killing me. It's just not good enough. Is there any kind of break-in period for these? Will it burn longer after some use. I really want to like it. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

Hmm I didn't seem to have any problem with the cutoff either but that could just be a difference in how we draw our E-Cigs. I find that with the KR808D-1 that I want to do what is best described as the "running start" approach giving it a kick start puff before I start my long draw for the inhalation into the lungs. People that have used auto batteries before know what I mean about needing to give it a little running start before you start your actually draw.

For myself a lot of that has to do with how the KR808D-1 feels like an Ultra Light tobacco cigarette unless you plug up the air flow holes a bit and make it a little harder draw. Maybe you have to draw longer because your not getting satisfied with the ultra light feel. It's hard to say since I don't know how you do your vaping. It's tough to give advice on this, I don't know what else to say...I would also get one of the new manual batteries for it and see how you like that. They have them on just about every site that sells the KR808D-1 I believe, it's a new version with a "Easy Glide" button whatever that is, perhaps the first version was a "Hard As Hell Glide" button.

I need to get hubby on a cartomizer model. He's kinda struggling with the 801. Considering VK, greencig or KR808. Someone out there who has tried at least two of these and can give me a comparison?

Drew said the KR808 is like a Caddy and the greencig is the Rolls Royce. So I guess he kinda answered my question on that. Price is considerably higher on greencig if you want a decent kit. :(
