Tried E-cigs and liked them; but gave them up when the last one died. Guess I just got tired of the atomizers burning out and having to buy new ones. Went back to analogs!!

Now trying to decide which kit(s) to buy to get back to e-cigs and hoping new technology has advanced! But the options are confusing as ever. I used to like the size and feel of the 808's. I do not like the big thick dildo looking things; I tried them. I would rather have a long e-cig than a thick one. Any suggestions on what to buy ??

I agree with Volt and I recommend manual batteries. Volt manuals are very well sealed (I think totally) and manuals make it easier to get a good hit. I recommend the 78mm size (120mm w/ cartomizer) for the longer charge. And buy liquid to keep the cartomizers damp. While finding your favorite flavors, if you have a good plain tobacco liquid and a good vanilla, you can top off any flavor - the flavor in the carto will change but one of those flavors will blend with anything. I can get 7 days use out of a Volt carto by keeping it damp with a thin clear liquid (80PG/20VG like Volt liquids or PG w/ 10-20% VG from elsewhere). Can also use cartos from Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6 and Vapor4Life.

For testing juices on a manual Volt use a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and drip tip (LiteCigUSA.net has those). Don't dirty cartos to try juices. Cartomizers have limited lives, their stuffing cannot be replaced - save them for the juices you know you like.

If you are looking for a fat battery long-charge model that can use the hotter LR atomizers and cartomizers - Liberty-Flights.com, press 20% first (front page upper left) off and look at Ego and Riva 510 (you will now be seeing the lowered prices) and also buy juice, Boge cartomizers (510 thread 3 and 2 ohm) and a drip tip.

I agree with Dormouse 100%!

I have (2) Ego's (fat bat style) and (2) Volt's from Smokeless Image. I use the Volts at work so they blend in with the other smokers. I use the Ego's mostly at home, although I do find myself reaching for the 808's periodically. When I first started I used the pre-filled carto's from SI and they were ok. After a week I ordered some juice and started filling blanks for more flavor and Throat hit options. Smokeless Image has great customer service, fast shipping and good prices. For on the go I ordered a couple of PCC's for my girlfriend and myself, they work great but there just not that durable in my eyes. I broke one just un-screwing a battery from the charging connector. I hope this helps, I love my Volt's and found them after searching here on the forums. Plus their buttons on the volt manuals are almost flush and look better than the 510 manual battery's and the battery's will last longer than the 510's. I highly recommend a Volt!

I've never owned a Volt but have read great reviews about them so that's my suggestion to you. I've even looked at getting a kit for myself just to try them out.

Smokeless Image is another good one to use. I believe it's basically the same ecig. They are having a sale right now. COUPON CODE: VOLTGOBBLE for 18% off.
