From their blog
Shipping from GearBest to Canada - GearBest Blog

Seems to say they ship to Canada but not from the US

  • American Warehouse: Unfortunately does not Ship to Canada
  • Priority Direct mail: No customs have to be paid on these orders. Unfortunately not all products can be sent with this method.
  • Flat rate shipping: This is the default and free shipping method to Canada. Customs apply to products above 20$C. We suggest to only choose Royal Mail or Netherland Post in case Expedited Shipping seems to expensive.
  • Expedited Shipping: DHL, FedEx, USPS or UPS. Fastest shipping available, but also subject to customs for products above 20$C and different brokerage fees for each courier company (up to 40$C).
  • Handling Fee: All Parcels passing the canadian customs office (above 20$C) have to pay an additional 5$C Handling Fee for the paperwork and preparation done during the importing process

Hi ... Just wondering why Gearbest stopped shipping to Canada? Is this permanent or will it be restarted again?

Thanks :)
Hi Ryedan.
Because many countries have new laws and more strict requirements to e-cigarette this year.
So we stop sell e-cigarette products to the following countries now. But we will be able to restart the shipping after we are up to these requirements.

Canada Slovakia Greece Spain Hungry Italy Finland Portugal Mexico Brazil Belgium

Thanks for your attention to GearBest.

Thanks for getting back to me :)

Interesting, I knew about the new Canada Customs charges and that we would be charged sales tax now, but not that there were stricter requirements for exporting to Canada. A little research is in order for me. Good to hear Gearbest may be back in the future.
