I have been vaping on and off for a while. I started with V4L, and then went over to Echos with 808 threads using clearomizers from a few different places. While this is the best I have so far, I still get the burnt taste sometimes, and would like to go to variable voltage with a tank style system to help eliminate burning.

I really, really like the automatic batteries, but I don't think anyone other than V4L makes a variable auto battery. So, I have a couple questions.

What is a good variable system for me? I think the most important thing is not getting a burnt taste. This is what drives me nuts now. More hit would be a bonus as well, since I still smoke and would like to give that up altogether. Price isn't a big deal for me, since I think paying more might help me be committed for this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome , and a different , or VV device is no guaranty , you won't get a burnt taste . That has a lot of possible causes , voltage , % of PG / VG mix ( too much VG ) doesn't wick in devices , very well . More suited to dripping . Juice not getting to coils , very well . Chain vaping , lots of reasons . So it's not your particular device , it's in the delivery system , or you , Not using the device properly . Are you using dual coils ??? Too low resistance atty's , or carto's , too much VG ??? lots of things . But in the end , Like Taypo said , the Vamo is a good choice for a cheap VV , Vw device , and when the batteries end their life , you just replace the battery , not the whole device . ( cheaper in the long run ) Good luck in looking for a new device , but first , find out what's causing you burnt taste . Maybe try a different atty , carto , or whatever it is , you have been using .

I have used different cartomizers, and some work better than others. I don't get as many burns as I used to. Right now I am using a single coil clearomizer from NW Vapors. It works well, but they really aren't stocking them anymore with the 808 threads that I use on the echo and my V4l passthrough.

I have been reading a lot, and I might just jump in and get a Provari. But I need to read more to see what I need.

Thanks for the help guys!
