I did make sure the bottom of the wick is cut at a 45 degree angle, but since I REoxidized it and pulled it off the bottom a bit, IT WORKS!!


I do have to tilt it a bit to get the wick saturated, BUT IT WORKS!! I think I may have a bit too much wick in it, and maybe thats why it doesnt pull the juice up by itself, but at least for a few days I will have a workable rba (then of course I will start tinkering with it AGAIN) lol

Not sure what you mean by too much wick as long as you can slide it out of hole without touching sides your good

Did you role it with something in the middle to make it hollow? It should take a tank or soo to get best out of it, also i always tilt soo theres nothing wrong with that

the DID clone I am using is small...maybe its a mini..not sure. I rolled the mesh wick by hand, with NOTHIING in the middle..a paperclip would have made the total circumference of the rolled wick, too wide for the hole.

the wick DOES touch the sides of the hole it goes in, but I thought that was why you oxidized the wick.....

Yes but you need a little room around the edges for air flow if your not doing a hollow center

LOL. I'm laughing with you, not at you. Thank goodness the remedy isn't as difficult as having to rewick.
