I cheated and had one analog over the weekend....YUCK! I originally sneaked one of my hubby's as I had an intense craving (turned out my carto was dead) at the time.

I am so happy I cheated because it reaffirmed my path and how disgusting cigs really are. It did NOTHING for me (except gross me out).

Concern to note: My father-in-law ordered his kit and goodies Saturday night, the order was processed thru the USPS sort facility in IL on Wednesday and he still does not have his kit! In fact USPS has no other tracking info beyond that. All of my orders have arrived in 48-72 hours at the most and he lives 20 minutes away from me! He already has a bad taste in his mouth over all this, mainly with USPS but also with V4L for taking so long to get his order out. Has anybody in the CO area had this big of a problem with USPS shipping (when no storm is happening?)

You guys are the best!

Keep in mind that last Monday was a holiday and the PO wasn't working. So, all the orders placed after Friday afternoon, through Tuesday morning, were stacked up waiting. From what I remember, the postal worker picks up boxes & boxes of orders every day from V4L headquarters, and take them back to the PO to scan in. It's most probable that your father-in-law's order was scanned as "picked up" by the PO on Wednesday even though they picked it up on Tuesday.

USPS gets really bogged down whenever there's a holiday because they end up being 1 day behind.. It sometimes take a couple weeks to catch up that one day. There's been times when I've received my order, and then a WEEK later the tracking/delivery confirmation website finally shows that it's been delivered.

I think V4L does extremely well with shipping things out in a timely manner. If you think about it, when everybody walked in on Tuesday morning, they probably had 2600+ orders to fill that day. Can you imagine the sweat that poured from everybody getting approx 18,000 items into bags in time for the PO worker to pick it all up?

Hey Katalyst, at least you admitted it! I too think it's a good thing, I had family over this weekend, they smoke, I took a hit off a ciggie and reminded of me of being 13 again. I laughed as all eyes were on me as I took a little drag.......tasted nasty...then I had a little cough afterwards. I think it's good thing and a perfectly natural way to monitor your progress.

Look, you just can't count on USPS for consistency under any circumstances. Your orders are shipped via truck, so even if the weather is clear in CO, how is it in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, or Missouri? About the only thing you can do is see when your order shipped from V4L. I think MK had a post showing her package was scanned through the same post office in Illinois 4 times in 4 days or something to that affect.

Just like testing the waters and sneaking a ciggie, we all have had issues with USPS at one time or another. That's why I overstock everything and order just to add to my stock on hand. This way I could careless when the next order arrives.

If you have a favorite flavor order 4 instead of 2. Glad I do this as I am still vaping on Wowboy, while many others aren't.

Haha Yup, same reaction here to analogs. That removed whatever desire I had to smoke. Pretty sure someone has gone around and replaced tobacco with fertilizer. Now they taste the way they smell. Ewwwww

Ya know, it's such a shame when shipping is off for someone new and especially their first kit. USPS is great for a while & then .... not. Grrrrr Contact V4L if it doesn't show up soon. I'm with Snow - the only constant with USPS is inconsistancy.

USPS seems to get a lot of flack when things get hung up from time to time, here's a postal secret...shhhhh

When a Priority Mail package is sent past the senders zone 3 area, the package is passed off to FedEx by the senders postal hub where it goes by FedEx air to the nearest FedEx hub of the destination and then passed back to the Post Office for delivery.

When it works I can get packages from NY to Alaska in 3 days. When there is a slight mistake by either FedEx or the USPS it can take them some time to get it back on course.
