I haven't been able to quit the the analogs yet, but I smoke no where near what i did. I am using Vision Spinner 1300 (x2) with Kanger Protank and Vision Mini Vivi Nova's. I use mount baker vapor and Ms.T's juice. After a Month and going stronger (not strong) I find myself reaching more for my e-cig then a cig even when I am having a cold one (or more :toast:) I am glad I have purchased everything that I have now and I am sure I will purchase more. I am really liking the reviews on the Provari and Vamo. I like the Vamo price better but from what i can tell it doesn't have the short circuit protection the Provari has.

P.S. My little ones 8 and 5 always ask me when i smoke why I am smoking a real one and not my setup (e-cig)

Good to hear, as far I know the VAMO also has built polarity and short circuit protection. The short circuit protection on these type of device is one of the reason that people who use RBA's and build super low resistance coils,( like under 1.0 ohms), use mechanical devices.

Provari costs a lot more than the VAMO, but it has a reputation for a very high standard of build quality.

Congrats on a good beginning.

One thing that helped me that last bit was having a secondary e-cig setup with as strong an e-liquid as I could find. When I had strong cravings like after meals and such I would hit the high strength rig and go back to the other one when the craving was mostly satisfied.

The best results I had were with a DIY desert mix of green apple + caramel at about 42mg/ml. Only needed the stronger mix for about a month or so but it was what I needed to make the final step.

That was almost 2 years ago and I have managed to step down from the 48mg/ml e-liquid I started with down to the 18mg/ml daily vape I use now. I'm looking forward to being down to between 8mg and 12mg over then next year and eventually down to 0 nic.

This is just what worked for me. I needed a no-stress program to succeed and with all the great information and support on the forums here I found what I needed and made it (many thanks to so many un-named people).

Best of luck to you and don't give up even if it seems to take you longer than others. It's important to find what works for YOU and not just try and copy what somebody else says worked for them.

Many of us don't quit on day 1.

I went to 3, then back up to 6 and back and forth until I was Secure with the thought of just using it alone.

Didn't need a certain nic level, PV, or juice - Just something to be puffin' on.

After 35yrs 1-1/2 PAD- kinda amazed that I haven't had 1 since about 6 wks in. And they're still there in the garage where I left them 2 yrs ago.

True. Each and everyone of us is an individual with individual needs. Things don't work the same for everyone and you just need to find your way. Just hang in there.

Your getting where you want to go so just relax, the stress of trying too hard only makes things more difficult.

When I decided I wanted to drop analogs for vaping I left one out of the pack with a lighter on top of the pack and put my e-cig right next to it on the pack. After a while I quit picking up the analog and after a month of it just sitting there staring at me I tossed it and the rest of the pack. Never looked back and after 2 years probably never will, that is what worked for ME.

Don't stress or push too much, it will come in it's own time if you let it. And if you never fully quit the stinkies don't stress on that part either, focus on how many fewer of them you smoke now and be happy.

Find YOU balance point and enjoy it whatever it is.
