i have been smoking for 20 years and went into my moms store and seen a e-cig and started to look into it that night. well sometime this week coming up i will be getting my first kit and will be making a pass though mod because i know i will drain the battery to quick. with working with computers all the time a pass though will be best for me. i was also thinking about a flashlight mod also because i have many cheap flashlights around and now for my ?. is it better to just use the e-cig kit till the battery goes bad or should i do my mods. i am an electronic tec by trade so making a mod will be no problem. any help would be good:blush:

You would probably be surprised at how long a standard ego style kit will last. I bought my first two battery kit 8 months ago and one of the batteries is still going.
On the other hand making mods are fun and really enjoy it. Check out madvapes website you will find everything you need to start kicking out some mods. Welcome aboard and you came to the right place.

Considering your electronics knowledge I would build a mod yourself. I just this afternoon took a kids toy R2D2 and made it into a 5V USB Passthrough and I know nothing about electronics, and it was basically my first time with a soldering iron. I have been using it all night with a standard resistance 510 atty, dripping some juice and it is working just as good as my almost $100 Silver Bullet does at 3.7V with a low resistance 510 atty. it cost me only ~$5 for the Passthrough, since I had the USB cable and the R2D2 toy already. The 510 connector was $5 at a local shop. In case your wondering the only reason I used an R2D2 toy was b/c I couldn't find anything else handy that I could mod easily. Good Luck. I think you will really enjoy vaping.

My $.02 is to vape more than you would smoke, that way you reduce the "cravings". For me I honestly never "crave" nicotine because i am never away from my ecig long enough. Which is how I believe I was able to quit analogs so easily. I almost never let myself go more than 15-20 minutes without taking a puff from my ecig. 26 days cigarette free!

i have been looking in madvapes for 3 days and they are the only place i have found what i want for making my mods. i know i will be going with a 510 because i can get the cardo local. i am cheap so if i can spend less i will but from what i have found is most things i want are cheap online compared to local. so most of my orders will be from madvapes and if i'm in a pinch i will buy from local dealers.
