Good day to you,
Thought I'd post a few words of my "adventure into vapeing".

Firstly let me thank you for having me here, in this wonderful world of very helpful, knowledgeable, nice people.

I was directed to e-cigs by a bloke on an unrelated forum on the 2nd of this month, since that moment (having some time on my hands) I have been studying this phenomena 14 hours a day (as an answer to an addiction that is slowly killing me by a smokers cough.....that go's all day).
Went through a period of the familiar "information overload".

I wanted to get started asp, so on the 4th of June put an order in for an eGo kit with 900 mah bats with the usual 2 atty's and 5 carts, charger for 60 odd bucks, the bonus was free 30ml of 36mg Marlboro juice.
To that I added:
5 mega 510 carto's with bonus 15ml 36mg juice, USB cig lighter adapter, 30ml 36mg french pipe.
The deal also comes with a free; USB passthrough [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]1 Joye 801 Atomizer, r[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]1 Joye Drip Tip[/FONT][/FONT], [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]1 Joye 801 USB Battery[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]
[/FONT][/FONT]The deal still seems pretty good (I know..... nothings free) @ 107 US$.

Well, the hitch is.....I'm still waiting for delivery. OK it's all the way to Oz but shipping cost of $31.92 one would nearly expect better.

During my time waiting (and continued research) I have also ordered 60ml 100mg juice from Box Elder, as they had a 50% off for a couple of days.

Some know of the debacle we suffer "Down Under" with their altruistic nanny/police state attitude, and worse in my state of Queensland, where customs is apparently handing over shipments to the Health Dept whereby they confiscate nic juice. They call this a democracy............ Folk in Dictatorships have more freedom.

So in my desperation, and strong feeling that I may be able to finally beat this 46yo habit, ordered some more nic juice from Greenhouse, as they guarantee delivery.
Which brings me to my next point, I now have a substantial investment and nothing in my hands to show for it!!!! Sure hope it's gonna work!

Hi and welcome!

If those are Joye/Joyetech mega cartos then they need a sharp syringe. How to fill picture:

And I find juices with around 20% VG or less work best for me in stuffing-type cartos like Boge. Reservoir cartos like the Joyetech and CE2's - I think they like 20-30%

Welcome....hope you get your stuff soon.....Were you issued tracking numbers? Is there such a thing as that in Australia? If not how would you know if you are sol? there is also an Australian forum link here..

The OZ customs can be very very thorough in their searches and sometimes they make large delays so hopefully this is what has happened to your kit instead of a confiscation . Hang on in there and let us know if/when it turns up. Oh and welcome to ECF

Welcome mate and hope you get your stuff soon. I can't believe the stand the Austrailian government has taken on e-cig. I think it has a lot to do with their backing of all other pharmecutical helps like nic gum, nic inhalers ect. I used to buy all mine from Austrailia being as you didn't need a prescription and it was much cheaper. There has to be some ties there somewhere.

Wow unclebob - i can feel your anxiety. We all get a bit twitchy waiting for our order to come (i do after a day). But what a pain it seems for you there.

Rest assured though Bob you can make this work for you. Sounds like you mean business so, coupled with a little determination, all this will have been worth the aggravation. I think you are going to be shocked by what a good choice of e cig you've made.

dormouse I still have syringes and large guage needles from my animal husbandry days, thanks for that, and one thing less to buy.
Also forgot to mention -have Boge 1 of : LR510 Cartomizers x5, 1 of : Regular 510 Bridgeless Atomizers x5 with my Greenhouse order, which, BTW shipped the next day, and nearly half the shipping cost of the other mob.

Sugar_and_Spice Yes I have tracking, for what it's worth, got this strange answer from a vendor:

"The tracking number is ##### however, it seems that international shipments do not update on the USPS site. "
But at least I know they've left US.

Yeah, to some it may seem I've over-done it with my orders, but after reading here and other forums of folk in similar addictive states as myself, have been able to quit, or at least greatly diminish the need for ....ogues. I have high expectations, but realize it will take some dedication.

After 15 days (since my first order) of doing not much else other than reviewing, researching, am still quite happy with e-cig choice. Maybe not so for the vendor.
