Most of taste is aroma, with food and with vapor. The tongue can only sense 5 things - sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and something called umami or savory related to msg.

Cigarettes and food give you their aroma as you bring them to your mouth. Ecigs don't, so you need to remember to let your nose get some of the vapor - sometimes let some waft out of your mouth so you can smell it. Some juices will have a taste - like a cherry juice should have a particular amount of sweet and and maybe some tart (sour) the tongue can sense and the aroma would be the clue that helps complete the "flavor".

Try some of the WOW cartos from Vapor4Life. Maybe their aromas and tastes will be stronger.

And something else you can do is browse of "Search Forum" the Juice reviews section of this forum and try to find reviews of juice flavors you might like. Or try some samplers. And many vendors offer an option for extra flavor or even double flavor. And fool with one of your cartos, trying different juices in it. This video might be useful for that:

If you haven't tried Halo Menthol Ice, give it a whirl. I first tried about a year ago, and it was different from any other menthol I had tasted. After a day I was hooked - it has been my go-to vape ever since. If you're looking for a good strawberry, try PrimeVaping - theirs is the most realistic I have had to date.

Dormouse has it! Smell is a major part (as well as vision). Inhale it, taste it, smell it and.... uh... look at a picture of what you are vaping. Actually the last, surprisingly, actually does help

I was a menthol smoker for 0ver 30 years. No menthol that I have tried, has been "the one".
I have over $300 invested in juices and I've just barely scratched the surface.
I buy from 6 to 8 different vendors and still have more I want to try.
ALOT of menthol smokers, do not like the menthols out there. If you read you will find
that many have settled into using the cinnamon as a menthol type substitute.
I use Pure Smokers Fire and Ice as others here have suggested. It is a cinnamon
and menthol mix. But for me by itself, it's too much. So I mix that with a good tobacco
flavor and a little VG for extra vapor and get my close to perfect vape.
Nothing is out of this world for me just yet.
And again, I agree totally that your taste buds WILL change....several times. Be careful in
ordering any large bottles for a while.
As far as faint taste...yes totally agree. They do not overwhelm you with alot of taste, but
then again, I am not sure I want to puff on a full blown strawberry all day.

And finally, I also agree, YOU and you alone will be the only person that can tell you if a juice is good
or not. It's all about your taste.

Buying the PV was easy....juice not so easy.
