Not for foods, but for the past two days (after lots and lots of vaping) I have noticed a loss of taste in almost all of my devices (510, 801, 601). I'm mixing juices, mainly menthol, strawberry, and the last of my italian cream (from vapor station...AWESOME). It has been tasting great for the past week until yesterday. I'm topping off just as often as I have been. It now all tastes the same: like nothing. wondering if maybe the constant menthol has had something to do with it? All devices are producing the same amount of vapor as before (except my 801 which is bugging me)...

If you direct drip and still have loss of taste, it just you.
If your using carts and they have been used for sometime. You may need to replace the cart.
I noticed after a while, the cotton filler retains the flavor somehow. Once I replace the cotton or use a new cart all together, this seems to remedy it.

I'm having a similar issue, but it seems to go in waves. I think if you vape constantly you overload your taste buds. Try to hold off for a while. I don't use menthol. I think you adjust eventually.
I am using carts, but even when I use a brand new one I am getting the same taste as one that I have been using for a week. I try using only strawberry liquid, then only menthol, all the same. I think I overloaded my taste buds the last few days but we'll see.
Well, try blowing out all the excess liquid from your atomizer. You'll be surprised how much liquid is actually there.
Since I drip only, I blow-out the atty once every day. It helps retaining the flavor. I don't do any other type of maintaining - like boiling and draining stuff etc.

Sounds to me like the menthol is the culprit. Had a similar problem here. Now I soak my atty's in Everclear overnight, everyother night. Has helped A LOT. May work for you...
I'm having the same problem. It's definitely the user, because I handed my PV over to a friend who had tried it earlier, and he said it tasted exactly the same to him.
It could be the nicotine numbing the taste buds, but why can I taste everything else just fine?
I vape at fairly regular intervals, so I don't think it's an OD symptom either.

also , the build up on the coil of your atty from juice can cause a bland flavor. I keep 1 flavor per atomizer for this reason
I'm having the same experience too, especially with my 510 and not yet with my 401.
But the full tatse would come back after stop vaping for a while. My guess is the Nic and the heat from vapor make our tasting system numb when you vape too much.

I've been having the same problem. I also thought it was my taste buds at first, but I notice that after I top off a cart (or put a couple drops directly on the atty) the taste comes back for awhile. 5-6 puffs, and it's gone again, but plenty of juice left in the cart. I'm having the same problem with all my liquids, so I'm thinking it has to be my atomizers, but I have no idea how to fix it...?
