Notification email for shipping?

I was just wondering what the 'time frame' is from when you pay for your order, to when you get an email with all the shipping information, etc, etc.

Does it vary? 3,4,5 days?

I ordered yesterday, got e-mail today it was shipped

I ordered late Monday night, and still haven't recieved anything other than it saying I paid LF the amount my order was.

No shipping info, though.
Normal?

It says my account has no order at this time.

How is that possible when I have an email saying I paid for my order?

Very confusing and frustrating to say the least.
