Notifications for Quoted Posts

Is this feature available anywhere? It's something very useful that I make use of on other forums but can't figure out how to turn it on here.

That feature is not available on this forum. To get this feature would mean adding a plugin for it (not easy since the forum is already heavily modified) and the sheer number of notifications generated would likely have an adverse effect on the site's performance since there are so many active users and so many posts being made, even if only a small percentage of them involve quoted posts
