The bigger problem now is... I have my Riva (no mail carriers were harmed during this process). Waiting on initial charge which says to do a full 8 hours, before first use :(
I should have ordered a pass through or second charger or both with my kit!
Oh well, will watch some more care & feeding type of vids on it and start puffing later tonight :)

most batts come with a 50% or better charge so feel free to blow out and prime your first atty and start using it while the first battery is charging. Also these batts do not have a "memory" and do not need the recommended 8 hour initial charge. When the light on the charger turns green you are ready to go.

Look forward to hearing your first impressions.

Don't expect it to stop for a while! I have been stalking the post man ever since I quit analogs. I order different juices from different vendors to try, etc and stalk for that now. I guess once I have made myself happy that I have found all the "daily vapes" the stalking will slow down. Ha Ha!

Same thing here! Waited for my kit then for weeks waited for several deliveries of different juices!

And I have to say.....WOW. This thing rocks! Night and day difference in amount of vapor, tastes, milder TH compared to my old one, but that is probably because I went low on the nic strengths when I ordered. These ones are 8mg and I have some 6 mg ones coming from BWB. I figured better safe than sorry, if I went a little nuts and chain vaped right away, I wouldn't be making myself sick with all the nicotine.

I am so far damn impressed with this unit though. Currently sucking down some grape flavor from LF, not bad, not bad at all. Might even mix it with some tobacco flav I have and see what happens. Now just have to fill up a coupple of regular carts and try it, and of course try dripping a bit :)

Dripping turned out to be my fav. even though I thought it would be more headache than it was worth. 3 drops and best flavor/vapor of all I have tried. For me that three drops lasts the equivilant of a little more than an analog. A "drip tip" however was really not for me.........the draw became too "airy" because of the large opening plus didnt like the liquid in mouth that happens every so often. Now I drip with a "blank" cart, filler removed. Just make sure to keep the two flat sides of the cart clear of juice as this is where the vapor passes through. The flats of the cart will accumulate juice from condensation and when there is enough it will pass through directly into your mouth. (yuuuck). If I add drops and there is residual liquid on the flats of the cart I just wipe it off.....no liquid in mouth that way.

One day I'll fire up my lathe and make a couple "drip tips" with smaller openings to obtain the firmer draw which I like.

Happy vaping.

I have yet to try the drip tips on my Riva, although I tore open an old cartomizer on my mini-mart e-cig (basically an npro). I pull everything out of it and left just the atty at the bottom. Dripped about 3-4 drops right onto it (without having it on the battery which is an auto battery). I did use the drip tip on it though, and stuck it back on the battery and fired it up. Worked just fine, but nothing quite like my new best friend ;)

How do you like the Riva compared to the smaller, more anaglog cig like PV's?

By the way, I am stalking the postal carrier as well at least two or three times a week! So addicting!

Well I haven't tried a normal 510, but the Riva vs my Mini-Mart purchased nJoy NPro clone = no competition. The cig style one served a purpose and got me started in this, but I won't be going back to it. The Riva is pretty damn amazing, and batteries last a long time. I originally was bouncing back and forth between the Joye 510 and eGo/Riva styles. So many people recommended the latter, and I am very glad I listened.

Actually my wife now puffs on the old one here and there when she is really craving a smoke. She hates the Grape & Spearmint flavors I have been vaping, she likes the more tobacco flavored prefilled cartos on the npro. I will probably get around to ordering some better tobacco flavors so she can have some here and there, but she is on the patch already, so she shouldn't be vaping nic juice anyhow. ;)
