fasttech does have some good deals and pretty quick shipping considering it comes from China, but yeah, I see your dilemma. I have only used Fasttech twice and both times it was 8 days to get it, of course I didn't order anything as nice as the SVD. Just remember that it'll get here sometime, and should be well worth the wait.

I know, I know, I will just have to keep telling myself that. I had been debating on doing this for months but tonight I saw FT had dropped the price of the SVD Express kit to just $37.21 ($67.21 with the batteries and charger I got) which is crazy cheap. So I finally did it. I really can't believe how deep I have gotten into this since I got my cig-a-like in January.

It's a slippery slope with those mods. I'm sure it might get worse yet ;) May your wait be swift.

Yup, waiting is hard. Did you order a variety of battery sizes? I find that I prefer my SVD in the 18350 mode. Also, do you have any battery cases? Safe charging (fireproof) bag? Food for thought.

I only ordered a pair of Panasonic 18650 PD that comes with a case. If it feels too long I may order some 18350's next. I don't charge my phone or tablet in bags, and they use basically the same battery type. I did at least get a good charger though (Nitecore I2).

Be wary of that charger when you get it. Most rant and rave and for good reason but I got a bad batch one this week(they have been hit and miss lately). When you first put ur batts in it, make sure you are around to check the temp after a half hour to an hour or so. If they are hot to the touch, the charger is overheating and it needs to be RMA'd.

I'm in exactly the same predicament as you, and my name is also Scott. Weird. It looks like we ordered exactly the same thing - did you also get Nitecore charger for two batteries? It seriously can't get here soon enough.

Yes I got the one for two batteries that also included a car charger plug. Specifically THIS one.

Thank you for the warning. I will definitely keep a close eye on it for the first few charge cycles.

You will know if its bad on the first charge cycle. I had put the new batts on the new charger right outta the box. Im even worried the hotness they got may have shortened their lifespan. They shouldn't even get luke warm. At least they dont on my Efest LUC anyways. Luckily i had another charger and batts to use. These were backups for my backups. I think the batts are fine. i finished the charge on the other charger and have used them. Seem fine so far.
