I seem to be a magnet for delayed shipping. Check this out. While my package left CA and arrived in FL in one day, getting it delivered is another thing. :glare: Still sorting? :blink:

I have a "mis-scan" so many times by USPS. It's really a funny thing. They press a button and scan the package. I talked to my local post office b/c I thought my package was delivered to the wrong house or something. It wasn't that, they the person at the PO pushed the wrong button. I guess they work so quickly that it's like a TV remote. Sometimes you hit 8 instead of 9.

Wow Reveen that's a long time for a package to be just sitting...I hope you get it tomorrow

Spicyed - I thought so too. It went out to be delivered and they changed their mind and brought it back to be resorted LOL

Hey scottinboca - I'm tempted to go to the post office and get it myself but I'll probably miss it and it will be on a truck somewhere circling around town only to be resorted again.

I'm stuck in USPS limbo right now. Supplier swears they dropped off the package. Tracking only says a tracking number was issued and beyond that it's not even in the system. Started 11/29.:(
Following up on my own post - not to be confused with talking to myself - does my scenario represent a genuine problem? Has anyone else had this happen where a "click to ship" tracking number doesn't even show a package in the system, no point of origination, no delivery address - and you still got the package anyway? Into day four now and there is still no change in status at USPS. Talked to USPS Thursday and was told even if they are hugely backed up, if they have a package they received for delivery the most basic tracking info - like actually having it - would show in 2 business days.

I wouldn't be bothered by it if it was just juice or anything, but its a Provari.

Its now Friday morning and it still says its sitting in the same sort facility halfway across the country since Tuesday. It also says to expect my packages to be delivered yesterday... I'm betting this won't come until sometime next week.

That depends on how it was shipped.
If it was sent out 1st class, you may not get annything.

There is a difference in "Tracking" and "Delivery Confermation" in both what you see and what is paid for.
But both have the same type of "tracking" number. Only the shipper can be sure.

Tracking will follow the item as it travels from sort facility to P.O. when it goes out for delivery and when it hits you mail box.
Delivery Confermation only shows when it hits your mail box.

Some venders do use only delivery confermation becouse it is cheaper then tracking, usually this is with 1st class packages.

So, yes, it can happen, you can still get delivery even if there is no record of it.

I've had packages show up with nothing but electronic information showing on USPS site. Not just ecig gear but other things I ordered on line. I think it's just the fact that they handle billions of pieces a year and some just fall through the cracks.

:blink::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::2c:

the site usually stays pretty up to date but i agree sometimes it doesnt have things posted till the day after you get it, doesnt really mean anything, just sucks for people like us who watch when it updates and it never does -.-
